I do not use condom fill. I use Boge cartos because SLB suck and Boge work fine for me. I drip at least 18 drops per ml of carto capacity into the stuffing while holding some tissue against the threaded end hole, more drops if it will take it. Then I clean it up. Then I lay it on different sides for 15-20min to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp. While vaping, when the vapor get a bit light or a bit dry, or if it tastes off or the carto is getting unusually warm, I add some juice.

I use thin clear juices with stuffing-type cartos. Thin like 20% or less VG. ANd clear light jucies that leave no flavoring sediment. VG and sediment can clog the stuffing making the carto wick and vaporize worse and worse. I use standard resistance cartos because I move them between slim 510 manuals and an Ego clone. Slim batteries are not supposed to use LR cartos and can be damaged by them but you can use LR one on Ego type models and other batteries >450mah.

I can get 1-2 weeks of good use out of a Boge.

Yes, My Riva is relatively new.... Riva 510 SE (it's really pretty...lol!)

Honestly, for reliability and ease of use, Boge 2.0 and 2.5Ω (that includes IKV Premium Platinum) can't be beat. They are reliable and consistent. Just keep them wet as they tend to get warm (especially the 2.0Ω ones on your SE Riva;)). I have the black and the steel SE Rivas and I love them. Use the 2.0Ω Boges on your 510 batteries. [Or get a 510-T atty...]

I fill my cartos with a syringe and a 18g sharp needle for the first time; after that, I just top off early and often. Works great for me--better and any other method.

IKV 801 Fusion cartos require an adapter if you want to use them on the 510... I tried them. They are fine cartos, but I don't like adapters. Besides, they are IKV 510 cartos adapted for use on 801 batteries... Just sayin'...

Good luck!

Hi Dormouse! ....;)

We disagree on LR atties and 510 batteries. :) Since they are only 3.1v or so, I found that 2.0Ω Boge cartos [and 510-T atties (2.1Ω)] work really well with 510 batts. I just got a new mega 510 (280 mAh) battery and I love it with my tanks, both standard and LR (1.8Ω).

I didn't invent the guidelines for LR cartos

Liberty-Flights.com (and I have seen it elsewhere as 450mah+)

510 2.0 Ohm - These produce hotter vaper and more of it, these can also change the flavour quite a bit (due to the heat), probably more suited to tobacco flavours. Throat hit is also increased. These cartomizers are Low Resistance, and only designed for use with batteries ≥ 400Mah.

510 2.5 Ohm - Standard resistance. Not too hot, not too cold. Good all around vape. Sutiable for all battery types.

510 3.0 Ohm - A cooler, mellow vape, ideally suited to sweeter flavours like fruits.

Oh, I know. They are being extra cautious; LR atties will drain mini batteries very quickly so they don't want people to be disappointed and complain about having to recharge their batteries all the time.

At the same time, Joye is selling new 510-T kits with 510-T atomizers, which are really low resistance: 2.1Ω standard and 1.8Ω LR. The batteries are 280 mAh (or so) automatic 510. ;)

I've been using Boge cartos (2.0Ω and 2.5Ω) and 510-T atties on my mega 510 batteries without any problems whatsoever.

The Ikenvape gold cartos aren't a good fit for a standard battery ( found this out the hard way... these are the stainless steel ones with the gold/brass connection)

The draw is ridiculously right, and the vapor is so cold and barely there (I'm using an E-Power, which I thought output a true 3.7v...)

You can tell the poor carto is barely getting enough power to vaporize the liquid, because it condenses back into e-liquid in my mouth/teeth/drip tip.. i mean drops and drops of liquid and very little vapor

I think they are meant for a higher voltage maybe

After using the IKV 510 cartomizers and being an atomizer only guy..Im telling everyone that has a problem with cartomizers to go to Customer Login and buy some 801 fusions...you will have to get the $3 adapter as well if you are using a 510 thread but TRUST me, its sooo worth it...i get better tasting and more consistent vapes than when i was dripping. It just cant be beat...AND they have them in LR now and they just updated their site with stock, so go enjoy :) You can thank me when you get them :)

ok.....got these ordered.....

If you want to go in a whole different direction, MadVapes has dual coil cartos for the ego now that hold 5 ml of juice.

I don't know if you'll like it better than a regular carto. I like it for some juices. Other's are a little muted.

Ego/Riva....interchangable? Ironic, I just found out MadVapes is about 15 minutes from me.

OK, Daniel, so far....Thanking You!!! I did exactly as you said. 801 Fusions - steel- + adapter to use on my 510 thread (Riva SE)....Then did the condom fill, and put on my steel drip tip. Hello !!!!! Now, that's a vape!
Question: Now can I just drip into the drip tip to add a little along, or should I take it apart and do the condom fill ? 45 degree angle fill?
The only thing I am missing now is a needle tip . I have syringes that I use to give my dogs their Meds.
Wow! What a difference! Thanks so much!

I don't know the right or wrong way but I just pull off the drip tip and add some juice when I'm just topping it off.

your welcome!! you have to take the drip tip off and then just top off at a 45 degree angle when the top cotton looks dry and you should be good to go! did you get the LR fusions? i have yet to try them..
