Cartomizer with Tank Flooding, Please Help!!!

Noob with noob problem here:

I use the XHaler, and I recently bought a tank with a dual coil cartomizer that has a couple holes that the juice feeds into. It was working really well, up until I decided to change juice flavors. So I took the cartomizer out of the tank and cleaned out the tank and blew out any juice left in the cartomizer. Then I reinserted the cartomizer into the tank and refilled it like how I was shown to do it, inside the tank and not inside the cartomizer. BUT, now the cartomizer keeps flooding. Tried again, still flooded. Tried a new cartomizer, still flooded. I'm down to my last, unused cartomizer, and don't want to try it again only to epic fail... Please Help!!!

Also, I have 306 attys that I bought on the side, as back up, but I'm not even sure if I'm using it properly. I would drip several drops, but still tastes burnt. Can anyone explain to me if that is due to being used to the tank for so long, or I'm just dripping improperly? (Sorry, these are two separate problems I'm having but just wanted to save some space by posting both here.)

Thanks in advance!

Where is it leaking? I have never used one but with other clearomizers the placement of the end seals into some notches is important and the totally clear tubes can crack.

Not dual coil, but next I recommend you try the CE3 Smokymizers (aka Deluxe Fluxomizers at Gotvapes) - they have the new tube that is not supposed to crack or leak.

Re 306 atty - did you get the primer out? (* blow out, primer with juice, wait for that to soak in, vape mostly off without inhaling and repeat from *). Then blow it out, prime it, wait and try again. It takes while to get the wick wet enough and everything happy. Did you buy LR? Those will be more prone to burnt taste - how thick is your juice? Is it flowing fast enough for that atty?

Try moving the tank up until the bottom is just barely covering the holes. This restricts juice intake and stops flooding nearly every time for me. It also allows me to blow out excess juice without losing a whole lot of juice in the tank. Make sure the internal O ring hasn't become damaged or dislodged when you refilled.

Do you notice any leaking from the tank when the carto floods?
