Is my carto flooding?

Hi guys! How do I know if my carto is flooded? I have suspicion that my cartomizer in my tank is flooding but am not sure. Please help with any knowledge you might have obviously I am a noobie. I have a provari mini with a small carto tank using a SR boge at 4.7 volts.

Hi - if it's gurgling or leaking out of the bottom it's flooded. You can try a "cold draw" gently inhaling from the mouth piece without turning on the power to listen for gurgling without getting a mouthful of juice. If it's flooded, take it off the battery, and VERY gently blow the excess into a paper towel. You can also roll up a small piece of paper towel and put it up the hole at the bottom to blot up juice. Make sure you wipe off the connection (both on the carto and the battery) before you put it back on. Getting a little liquid down the center air tube happens all the time when filling cartos.

@Ginopr82: if the carto is flooding ( gurgling after you blow the excess liquid ) it needs to be changed.

If it is gurgling it's not an obvious loud gurgling. It's slightly different then the crackling, almost a like an immediate rapid pause when vaping. What I do know is that I think I'm getting what I believe to be a splattering of hot liquid in the inside of my lip when vaping sometimes. It's not leaking out the drip tip but its like a hot juice splattered and hit my lip and when I take the tank off I see a little bit of liquid in the top middle battery post of my provari. What do you guys think?

I have two holes that I punched in my carto and am using an all pg red bull juice. Should I try 1 hole and is it normal for it to take quite a few vapors before the juices start flowing properly in the tank?

yes your juice is probably very thin. try 1 hole. try to punch a very small hole
