Cartomizers losing resistance

Hi!
I don't understand much about electrical stuff apart from the vaping basics of ohm's law, etc...
My question is, do cartomizers resistance fall/lower from use?
I had seen such a thing happen with one of my Boge's LR where it started at 2.1 ohms and dropped to 1.3 ohms after 2 days of use. I knew that was not normal, of course, but at that time someone told me that with use they should probably increase in resistance...I found that odd just from a common sense point of view, but ok...
Now I have a Boge LR that started at 2.3 and after some use is at 1.9 ohms.

I just wanted to clear with you guys, what is the expected performance of a cartomizers' resistance during its use? Should it drop with use, increase, or what?
(I'm talking of the actual resistance of the cartomizer, verified by the provari, I am not asking if the resistance drops in use (under load) like the voltage in most batteries does...

I put a fresh carto in a tank this morning and it read 2.9 ohms....I just checked it again after alittle bit of use, and it's reading 2.7 ohms. This is on a Provari, at the same 5 volt setting.

I metered a Smok Tech LR single coil 2.0 ohm XL (stainless steel) about two weeks ago. Smok Tech specs say plus or minus 0.2 ohms. Resistance was 2.0 ohms when new and unused and 1.9 ohms after 12 days of continual use and 25 ml run through it. I used regulated 3.7V with it.

I've had them go down; but more often than not, my Fluxomizers and Phoenix Bottom Coils go up .1 to .2 ohms.
