cartomizers

I have an e-cig that I've deduced is an 808. what else do I need to know when it comes to buying cartomizers?
I found clear cartomizers on vapor station. how can I be sure they'll fit my battery?

the shopping cart let me choose from different "ohms". aw, come on, I just wanna vape and I don't want anything to explode! :p

from what I've read/seen, can I assume my battery is an 808 because it is the "male" end of the connection, and the cartomizers are the "female" end? what about threads? widths? stuff like that. how much frackin' variation is there?!?

thanks so much...

I can't say :) I'm a "supplier", technically. haha. I've promised the forum moderators that I won't name it.
I'm wondering because I have another that I suspect is a 501. it's called 21st century. I got it from a liquor store down south when my regular equip messed up while I was out of town. I keep refilling *that* cartomizer and it seems to be lasting forever. my regular stuff, I refill the cartomizers maybe 5 times and they start to taste so yucky that I toss them and start over. I'm wondering how to improve this. the 21st century liquor store e-cig kinda kicks ....! and that i've refilled the cartomizer so many times without consequence is amazing me...

Well, not all manufacturers of batteries are standardized. A lot of the mall kiosk vendors sell proprietary connections. What battery brand/model do you have? Also, you do need to be careful of the ohm's and whether your battery can handle low res cartomizers. Generally, you should not use low resistance on cig-a-like style batteries.
