Cartomizr caps glued?

Hi! I'm new to vaping however I am already pretty sure I'll be a part of the club for quite some time to come!

Anyways, I was reading a lot on these forums about refilling cartos. Seems simple enough- I tired the condom method, and while it worked, I found it to be rather messy (extra juice on the sides etc.) Not only is it a mess, but Id have to imagine Im wasting liquid at the same time.

I decided to try to take the cap off of one of my V4L cartos that I received with my order- took quite a bit of force to get off, and once it finally popped off, I found that they were glued in place.

With everyone around here talking about refilling them, Im a little confused. Is this normal for them to be glued on? Are people only talking about refilling the blank ones?

Also, if you have any suggestions on how to properly do the condom method, I would be all ears. Ive found that these V4L cartos can take almost a full condom full of juice without bubbling out of the battery end. That seem right?

There are three main types of caps:

1) two piece design with inner cap and glued outer cap.

2) two piece design with inner cap and non-glued outer cap.

3) one piece design with just a Silicon cap

I believe the glued ones were the earlier ones, so you may have received some older stock.

Chances are, if you ordered from the "dollar deals" aka clearance items, you may have recieved older model carts.

Using a tool like a tiny screwdriver or pointed tweezers will be a valuable tool.
