Cartos from COV

So i was running low and ordering some other things from COV anyway and trew the cartos into my order. I get them and they are in a green box and it saya SGS on the outside. Definitely not my usual boge cartos. I open one up to fill it and ther is an extra little clear ring under the soft tip. I remove that, drip fill it and start vaping. Nothing but nasty nasty burnt taste. Got a second one out and filled it using the condom method. Same result. These do not have the normal fluffy spongy look inside. They look like rolled up cotton. Any thoughts? Anyone used these? I hate to pitch them but that burnt taste sticks in your mouth forever and i am scared to try another one.

I've had best results by using a syringe to do the initial fill.

Leave the plug and condom on the threaded end while filling. Remove the soft tip and the inner ring.

Insert the syringe needle between the filler and the carto tube and slide it to the bottom, then pull it back a bit before injecting slowly. Let the carto sit for for a few minutes before using.

Standard length cartos will take about 1.0 mL, mega length will take about 1.7 mL.

If you use the syringe to refill, use about 0.5 mL or less and insert the needle only halfway down. Go slowly. Stop filling when it barely starts to look wet.

Thanks max! These are my backups at this point but i will certainly try this. I hate wasting money.

I ordered the same cartos from COV. They are 1.5 ohm LR cartos. I also get nothing but a burnt taste from them. Even after letting a filled carto sit for a few days it still tastes like burnt metal. No flavor whatsoever. I am going to email Bruce and see what the deal is.

Update: I talked to Bruce at Clouds of Vapor. He said he stopped selling the 1.5ohm cartos because he didn't like how they performed. He even offered to send me a replacement box. Now that is customer service!

I got the same crap cartos in the green box HORRIBLE even on a 3.7 volt taste burnt from the first hit like an under filled carto! Nasty won't buy those again!
