ok i am a bit confused as i cant see other people complaining so much about it. i have ego and joye 510 standard - both 3.7v batteries. i am using boge 510 cartomizer (2.7-3.0 ohms) so i think it is a standard resistance carto.
i like everything else but the biggest issue i am facing is the heating up of the carto itself. i am doing a normal draw less than 5 secs and for the second draw i have to wait a few secs for it to cool down. is this normal ? am i using the wrong combination ?
the warming up is consistent no matter how much liquid is in the cartos.

Warming is consistent. drip tips help, but a carto tank stops the issue and make your cartos last longer IMHO.

...your carto will certainly warm up as you vape...are you using a drip tip, if not, try one, it will keep your lips further from the heat.........
madjack:2cool:

sounds normal to me :)

Yup. Normal. Try a drip tip. Plain ones are cheap (510-901/808 will fit) I can't imagine vaping without one anymore. Start a collection ;-) Colors, shapes...it's fun!

Do you own a voltmeter that can check resistance(ohms) and double check the resistance on your cartos. The Joye eGo batts shouldn't make a 3.0 ohm carto warm in the time frame you are describing. I couldn't stand vaping a 3 ohm boge on my ego batts, just cool vape and had to wait. Boge 2 ohm with an ego batt works great and it will heat up a carto but not within 5-6 seconds. The carto will heat up quicker using high VG liquids and I've used juice that was as thick as veggie oil(100% VG)
