I don't know if it''s just the way i'm using them, but do the boge carto's lose their sizzle after a few days of use? My first couple days they would crackle, pop and produce tons of flavor and vapor. But on my 3rd day of use they don't seem to be producing much flavor or vapor. I am making sure I keep the filler nice and damp. I am getting that "slushy" look at the top. But hear none of the crackling sound anymore or getting that great TH and vapor production. Any tips or tricks anyone might have would be greatly appreciated!!

See if you can see through the hole in the center, if you can't - you can straighten a paper clip or use a long needle and carefully poke through it.

Cartos are a learning curve, at first they seem to last about 2-3 days, but eventually you can work up to a week and beyond depending on the equipment you are using and if you keep it consistently damp.

I use tv waffle in mine and can't make mine last for more than 3 days no matter how wet I keep it. They don't get hard to draw.. just lose all flavor and enjoyment. When I use KBV warm sugar cookie I can get almost a week! Since waffle is my absolute favorite, I just live with it. I've tried cleaning them and leaving them to dry and may get a couple more days on some of them.

I agree with everyone else. I have two cartos that have lasted me almost... three weeks now? Maybe a bit less. I always fill them up before I put the condom caps on them when I'm not using my cartos (I use them either just for driving or if I'm too distracted to drip). That way I know they're not sitting around, dry to the bone, and that they're covered up and ready to go.
