Cartos...Now I get it

I've only been vaping about 2 months and up until now have been using Protanks 1 and 2 with my spinners. I've been extremely satisfied with them, great vape! When I received my juices from MBV I went to my local B&M and decided to grab a 5 pack of 510D LR Cartos. Totally Different Vape, much warmer and loads of flavor. I'm not sure I like them better than my BCC, a little futzy with the filling and such, but I like them enough to wanna get a carto tank when I get my vv/vw mod.

To all you Carto-heads out there...Thanx for the info and for lovin your carts enough to peak the interest of us noobs and non believers.

Some folks can taste the plastic from a clearo, others can taste the filler in a carto. There are even people that can't stand either one.
Sure is nice that we have choices, don't ya think?

IMO, a carto tank is easier to use than a clearo, but that's probably only because I'm use to using cartos.

After u try it, come back and let us know what you think. I'm a carto-tank noob too and really didn't think I'd want to try it, but after reading more about it, it's def in my list to try. IBtanked gets great reviews.

I love my carto tanks! Easy, tastes great, little to zero hassles, long lasting...what's not to love? They look good too! I've used lots of different tank systems, atomizers, etc. But I always go back to cartotanks!

why wait? carto tanks with a LR carto work great on just about any device, including standard ego batteries and even mechanical mods (may want to take the first 10-20 hits with a ~2.0ohm atomizer on a mech mod in some cases though).

A good glass carto-tank is no maintenance, less hassle and more consistent than any clearo I have tried. Getting one with good seals is important. I would look at Phiniac or IBtanked:

If you just want to get your feet wet and see if you like the tanks then try these...just make sure to get the 6 ml size Pro DCTank Tube I have a couple and they work great for me. And they are resistant to corrosive juices. If you decide you like them then go for the IBtanked ones I have a few of them too.

And these are the cartos I use. They have the same amount of filling that a standard does but it all you need. Add 10 drops wait 15 minutes add another 10 drops wait 15 minutes and then put in your tank and I let mine sit for 15 minutes. Works perfect everytime!

I'm still loving the carto tanks. I keep trying other toppers, but always seem to come back. I think it's time to order my next pair from Phiniac. I want to get a 1st Cavalry patch on one, and the crossed retorts of the chemical corps on a cobalt blue tank. I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it!

45 minutes to prime your cartos????

There are many much faster effective ways to prime a carto , especially for a carto tank.

I can perfectly prime a carto in about 3 minutes.

I know I probably could do it faster but Im not in no hurry. Still can't shake the taste of that last bad dry hit I got when I didn't wait long enough so now I just take my time. I ain't go nowhere to go LOL

My cartotank is full but sits there pretty much unused--it always floods, no matter how/which way I try to prime it. Once it's sat for a day it's fine, but I need to fill and go. No time to mess around with it. I wish I liked mine better--I spent a pretty penny on it. I get the same amount of flavor and vapor from my basic evod/PT clearos.

Don't know what I'm missing, but everyone raves so I'm sure it's me.

I was addicted to mods and pro tanks, dboxes, etc. About a month ago I got an F16 carto tank and a smoktech 1.5 ohm cart. If was perfect for my MVP at 3.5v. It put out a tremendous amount of vapor, warmth and flavor. Since then I've ordered two more and they stay on my kamry and twist. I just wished I'd have known sooner. All dat $$ I coulda saved...

I will certainly be getting an Ibtanked or Phiniac but for now I Think I will attempt a vertical Coil for my PT 2 and see how that works .

Tried my first one today...think this puppy is gonna work! Anyone know the best way to get a warmer vape out of it? I tried 2.0 ohms and cranked the volts to 4.5...not warm enough and I don't want to burn it out.

Would a 3.0 produce warmer vape on a higher volt or carto tanks are just not going to produce a warm vape like a top coil clearo?
