Cartos "popping" and "crackling" sometimes a bit more than normal?

Hi all...so I primarily use either SmokeTech or Boge 2.5ohm cartos for my 510s, recently ordered some of the XL size of the SmokeTech. On the 808s, usually use the V4L cartos. Anyway..I know they typically make that crackling sound here & there...but recently I'm actually get startled by them. One of these SmokeTech XLs has me hesitant to pick it back up for another puff, as it makes one loud "POP" and I can almost feel it in my mouth. Some of the others tend to do this now & then as well, but I can't pin point a specific reason or common denominator as to when it happens. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything to worry about?

The smoktech XL's are notorious for having an extremely loud pop to them. You get used to it pretty quickly, and the lack of it in the Boges starts to become disconcerting instead!

Ok..that's good to know. Because there have literally been a few times where I've felt a POP in my mouth....definitely woke me up!
