So while ordering some stuff last week I tossed in another pack of LR boges. Silver so they would match my batteries :) Mine are getting on and haven't had new ones in a while. So I fill it up and head off to work and really......I kept checking to see if it needed topping up or something. Brand new...well soaked even. I'm fortunate that my work drive has a lot of red lights so I just drip then while waiting for the light to change. My last few road trips I've had someone else in the car who is well trained to drip for me :)

I'm glad I have a new pack of them, and vapor production is great....it's the taste :( Just not the same. I need a reo I think for my six month mark. 1.5 months to go!! But on a good note the silver is styling on the batteries

I was told by a supplier smoketech dual coils give awesome taste and vapor, as for the taste on your atties, do not give up hope yet, your atties have to break in, some companies coat the elements in some sort of liquid, that have to be "burnt" off when you vape, for using hot water doesnt help. I saw that in a review on youtube.

I hadn't even read the OP, I just saw "Reo" and I had to chime in like a reo cheerleader:)

There's definitely a break in period I find with atomizers, and as r4nd0mCh40s said the primer on tastes like a**. I usually start off by blowing hard into the atty to try and remove some of it, then drip a few drops puff puff without inhaling, blow out again, another 2 drops, puff puff puff blow, I do this about 3-4 times and the primer taste is all but gone. Try a few different brands of atomizers, IkenVape/Joye/Cisco/Bauway etc.

I agree, ive tried 3 diff kinds of cartos and i want to like them so i can have one for each juice i have but the taste is just terrible IMOP, all i do now is drip its the only way i can get the flavor to my taste. Ya i hate startn new attys though cuz of the oil or w/e suppliers use it takes about half a day of vaping to get back to the norm

I too have to cheer for the reo. I have a grand and a mini and I use nothing but carto's with them. My usual is the LR boge but I tried out a pack of the smoketech DC's with them and I love it. I find they give enough taste - I wonder if the juice is the reason for lack of flavor. I also vape nothing but BWB juices too, but since everyone's taste buds are different, maybe I'm just lucky that I find enough taste in mine.

To sam.8 and mopar - I can't recommend a reo enough. They are awesome pv's. Just like good ol' Ronco's favorite selling feature on his products - just set it and forget it! Reo's work so great with carto's it is vaping heaven to have a freshly topped off carto with you at all time (getting a little dry - just squonk and its happy again)

Exactly.....I read such things as squonking and realize....that's what I need :) I don't even mind carting a small bottle around really, it's more the driving. Oddly sometimes you never get a red light when you need one!

To the comment on dual coil. I have some. I actually found the 2.0 boges better. But also, to be fair, I have ego batts.....so more voltage would perhaps change my mind on that. But they're also so damn big! I love atties. I don't even mind their break in period :)

I usually puff before I give power. can tell if it needs a little squeeze. it's jusy easy to keep a carto wet with a reo so it tastes better. I am liking using an atty too though. I'm trying some new atty out this week. interesting looking thing. I tried the mega dual coil xxl carto, the gh1 dual coil, 306d lr and boge lr. I like the boge and 306 best with the reo mini. the mb tanks (like my e gar) I am really digging right now. I'm getting 20 ml through and still work like new. if you don't mind big it doesn't get any easier to deal with. I was hesitant I will admit. I love my reo and just bought a grand. I'd like to find an atty I like with them to get rid of filler as much as possible.

some cartos taint the flavour. I am choked at wasting bwb bluebacko in that gh1 carto. dripping it tastes so good. tasting it on that carto makes me think my dyi blueberry might not have been as bad as I thought. the mega cartos kinda popped while I vaped. odd sensation to me. they worked but I couldn't get over that popping. a carto crackles.

Acutally that reminds me, I've seen 306 cartos, any difference in them as far as performance, as in 306 atties seem to taste a bit more than 510s, how does that transfer to cartomizers?

Weird. I thought 306 was to designate that the atty (with 510 threading) had an exposed bridge. How does that work with a carto?

OP, I share your thoughts. I wasn't impressed with cartos. Not for me. Convenient in that they hold plenty of ejuice. But the tastes is just off.

Did you try a smotech?

Haha you said "squonk" :) Damn, I just want a Reo of my own to Squonk. That's an awesome word for hitting the bottle permission to use when I get my Reo?

The smoktech's I got are 1.8ohm they are supposed to be great. Did you try them? If you are close to Newmarket or pass on the highway heading north let me know and I'll give you one. With ego and those DC's your above 5V should be sweet. I know on my 5V and my LR atty's(all I have) everything just tastes burnt. I prefer my ego with a LR more then my 3.7V(I have to drip 1 drop in the atty every vape with the 4th or 5th I get a double vape) if you are thinking about more power 3.7 on the reo is nice cause you'll be able to keep squonking it. Or make sure it is variable cause then you can adjust it for any particular atty and juice. :2c: and not worth a penny.

Yep, pretty certain the dual coil ones I ordered were smoktech. I filled two and still have three in package. Maybe this weekend i"ll give them another go for kicks.

and yeah, Phil....those are what I was looking at. Was trying to figure out what would be the difference between boge's 510 and 306 cartos. I should look around and see if anyone has taken one apart or reviewed them even. I have no idea if they are even new or anything, just happened to notice them the other day.

I just ripped a 306d apart. I heard they had a 306 atty inside but they don't same setup as a boge with the wire. they are just a little shorter and thinner. had to take a 510 drip tip, remove the rubber o ring then sand the edge down to fit in the cartos. they vape very much like a boge. and 25 for $20 at eastmall we ordered a box to split and see.

I think that's what I tried. Whatever it is that Jack sells. I just didn't like it.

I've been vaping Geoff's Blend. A mixture of cinnamon and I have no idea. But there was just some weird taste with it. Tried a menthol. Once again, there was a weird taste from the carto. So, it just wasn't for me. I have no problems dripping (driving aside). Works for me.

I'm not knocking anybody that likes cartos. I feel like I'm the odd man out as it seems that a lot of folks love cartos. I appreciate the convenience of it. Just wish I liked it too.

Thanks for that! Good to know :)

edit: that's a great price!
