if your going to invest in a 306 you really need to get the cisco atty from happy vaper , no other atty even comes close , i didnt like the joye 306 but cisco lr 306 is the nuts in atties u wont be dissapointed

I keep seeing that on the board as well, but the only issue is that Jack is almost always out of the cisco atty's (at least every time I check). Guess I'll just have to yell* at him tonight at the meet

*I would never yell at anyone that provides me with goodies for vaping.

That's what I ordered but then he was out of stock so I went with the joye. joye 306 better than no 306 :) Especially since I was excited to see what this was all about. But good to know. Hopefully there will be one when I order next.

Actually do just that :) Screw it on your battery and give it a little tug, it will pop right off

I've given it a few tugs but it's pretty tightly on there. And at the moment there's no real reason to take it off....it's just bugging me :)

carefull i ripped the casing right off the thread doing this
That's what I'm concerned with. It was pretty tight getting it on there to begin with. I'm guessing it's easier to deal with when the atty is cold, correct?

I agree, the Cisco is top of the line but also so is Ikenvape 306 atties. A little less heat and tons of flavour and a solid TH. As awesome as a cisco is it can tend to break down more delicate flavours. Joye 306's don't cut it for me either but I think that's because my first ever 306 was a Cisco, could be wrong there but I get 0 TH from them at all even after a break in period.

Best advice for 306 users IME -

1. Keep the coil as wet as you can without flooding, even a Cisco/ Ikenvape 306 will be stressed by even a small dry burn and not perform "like new"

2. Either keep a bandana or some napkins on hand for leakage, as 306's are amazing to vape but less than admirable for leakage until you get into the swing of it. OR you can get one of these;

3. If you have the DCA306 then you won't have to worry about a 306 drip tip, if not then you might want to invest in a few drip tips. The clear plastic ones are famous for melting or warping with use so you might consider getting a Glass 306 drip tip from NicFitNation. Since it is a "pyrex" type of glass it is not going to warp with heat and obv will never melt.

$15.97 yowsers!

Are they really worth it over an aluminium which probably has as little chance to melt?

heating just the tip with say a hair dryer should get that to expand, just a thought.

Great advice Pipeous!

Just to add a little, you are best to grasp the silver band and not the body of an eGo battery when removing a stuck drip tip. A good tug should remove that drip tip fairly easily after heating it a bit and holding the band will prevent ripping the entire threading/ switch housing off of the battery tube.

One time I can remember my DT was so stuck on my atty that I really couldn't use a battery to remove it, I remedied that by removing the atty from the device, grabbing the threads with a paper towel and gave a good tug/ twist to the DT. HTH you guys and gals out there.

Aluminum would do just as well actually but I have heard glowing reviews of the glass drip tips on the market, both 510 and 306. I am going to pick some up soon so I can see for myself but have yet to order. Props to VST for bringing those bad boys to Canada though, I know he is a huge fan of them.

I love love love the Cisco 306LR at 1.8 ohms. Currently running it with a Cannon drip tip on the Reo Grand, and it works great. I would love to get the DCA306 from Goodsense but it's $28 for a glorified drip tip. I'll put it on the maybe buy list. :)

, but what are you going to do when you reach for your backup battery and its dead? Do you have a backup for your backup?

And this is why my batteries are in a rotation... once i drain one, it goes to be charged.. the charged one goes into my backup and my backup becomes my main.. that way no battery ever is dead!

if ur drip tip is still stuck stick a booby pin in the mouth piece and carefully push on the casing of the dt around the bridge , dont push the bride but the metal ring that circles it , its easier to push it out than pull when its stuck , and no worry of ripping the casing off the thread

+1 on the cisco 306lr. Screwed that baby on a 1000mah eGo and fell in love. My plastic drip tip did melt a bit, but it did not affect performance. Got about 5 good months out of 2 of them, then one shorted out and killed my eGo. :( Batt just blinks at me now. Back to standard 510's.
Will be buying more 306lrs when the wallet gets fatter and my desire for big voltage mods can be met.
