Cartriges or Drip?

It seems most people one here go the "dripping" route on this forum. What is the difference in vapor production in this method. Can some explain in detail what you are actually doing (where you are placing drops). I hope to have my pv by the end of the week. I am very excited to not have to smoke tobacco anymore.

when your "dripping" your placing drops directly on top of the atomizer. which is the part that heats up so i would assume it would get hotter causing more vapor production. but i dont even have my own yet but thats what i get out of it. i've watched several videos on youtube about it. you can always search those and watch and learn.

You are putting no more than 2-3 drops (i recommend only 2) into the metal wick of the atomizer. The metal wick in the atomizer is found at the opposite end of where you would screw the battery in.

Depending on the model, some atomizers you can clearly see the metal wick (in other words, they are exposed) and in some models, the metal wick is enclosed with metal.

By dripping directly into the atomizer, you will get the maximum vapor that your device can produce...or close to it at least.

The only downside i see by only dripping into the atomizer, is that you will find youserlf keep dripping into the atomizer after a couple of puffs.

I recommend filling up the cart and putting 2 drops into the atomizer. That way you can get the initial superb vapor production and then keep vaping until you see a loss in vapor. Then keep dripping into the atomizer until the cart. is almost empty. This way, it will keep your atomizer fully lubricated and at the same time use up the liquid inside your cart.

If you've never used an ecig before i would suggest you just top up the cartridges with e-liquid rather than drip. I've never dripped my ecigs , far too risky in getting the right amount of liquid in there without either drowning the atomizer, flooding the battery and killing it or not putting enough in and burning it dry.

Top up carts for a bit until you know how your ecig behaves. You'll know then what it's supposed to taste like and how hot it normally gets.

I agree with vapor and apostle,

dripping will produce the max amount of vapor your model will produce, but if you have never used an e cig before than use and fill the carts first. It's all about playing with the equipment until you know what it's gonna do. However if you have never dripped liqui into an atomizer i suggest you use one or maybe two drops, this will not flood the atomizer but if you puff too many times it will dry it out so be careful to look out for that most of all.

BTW, by "too many puffs" I mean really 3-5 before you start seeing profuse vapor.
