Hiya guys!

I bought a Smoking Everywhere starter kit about 6mo. ago, tried it for a little while and put it away till my cig quit date and the end of last year. I used it for a month without smoking, and gave it away to another smoker. I screwed up a bit I think because Im smoking again, lol. The guy I gave it to has cut down on the normal cigs though, so thats good, and it had already paid for its self..

A few days ago, I bought a Blu, and Im waiting for it to arrive. I read the tips here so I hope it goes smooth. I bought the Blu because alot of people are down on Smoking Everywhere, and I read a ecig review here that listed as a good starter.

Has anyone tried both of these products? Id like to hear why the Blue is better than Smoking Everywhere in a single thread.

My beef with Smoking Everywhere is that unless you really tug on it, not much vapor. It also didnt seem to work right at times. It wouldnt activate, or it would stay on a long time after a hit. Other times it worked just fine, but only with one of the two batterys they provided.

The best thing about it is that I quit smoking normal cigs, and the mall not far from here has a kiosk. I have no idea where to get the juice/cartriges in my area for the Blu, so Ill have to be on top of the supply.

I got the Blu off their web site, the SE off Amazon.
Blu $59 SE$79
The only thing I dont like about the Blu starter is you get free samples of different flavors it your nic strenght. I would have prefered all tobacco that the SE offers. I went ahead and bought a few tobacco flavored carts when I made my purchase of the Blu.

On a different subject, Ive found that its not the smoking thats got me hooked, but the habit of doing it. So, when a cartrige runs out, can I just take an eye dropper and drip a few drips to re soak the filler?

Thanks for reading!

First, hope you read the WoW CaptJay so kindly linked for you. Oop! - see you did ;)

Now that you've done that - some specifics about the Blu. You've gotta hit it light and long, I played a game of "draw just light enough to keep the light on" with it and that worked.

The carts are tiny though :( And they don't wick very well - so you might look at doing some tweaks. Here's someone who modded it work well for them. I agree that the PCC is very convenient when you are out (though this is not the only solution to the battery life problem).

You should have 30 (I think?) days to send it back, in case you decide you'd rather go with a different model. There are starter kits at lower cost and, in my opinion, much better performance.

If you decide to stick with Blu - look at Volcano. Both are l88b's so parts are interchangeable (identical, really save for logos and such) and they have a pass-through (PT). Carts I hear hold a little more liquid too.

However you go, I hope it works out much better than your experience with SE :)

You know, I have the SE Gold. Porno version. I actually have no issues with it. The cart is really small. The battery is huge. A little mismatch. But it hits like my 510. A harder draw I think. But it has porn, so it's good.

But honestly, I read a lot of the forums here. And everyone had every problem you could imagine with Smoking Everywhere, and if I blew out the 1 atomizer I have, I wouldn't bother looking for a replacement.

Given what the CS rep's attitude is at that moment and what kind of person they are and what the company policy is and all that jazz....ceteris parabus, the way people talk to the reps can have a huge influence on the outcome. Can't hurt to try if you find you're not satisfied - calm, cheery, personable, but disappointed works for me.

Oh, about that thread - that's just one possible solution. There are tons more! Lots of fun to search around and read. One thing the Blu won't let you down doing, of course, is dipping or dripping so long as you are very careful about those un-sealed auto batts. lol, sorry I keep talking. Shutting up now and happy vaping!

Bobnoxious - great to hear the SE is working out ok for you :) I still remember the thread where you first talked about it...porn! hilarious!

Lol..
Remember Im a noob.. I got CS, but un-sealed auto batts?
8-o

My bad  So automatic batteries (activated either by sound or by pressure - both when you take a drag) are unsealed so air can pass through and make the switch go. This means that if you drip (put a couple drops of juice directly on the atty bridge - the V shaped dealie that sticks out)...you can get juice inside the battery...bad news ;) Manual batteries typically have a metal seal so this is not an issue.
