Hello, and first off Thanks to all of you that have been helping me on my journey to remain smoke free. I'm at a week now. The weeks before I was down to hardly any but really, that doesn't count.

My question is the carts that came with my KGO that I ordered from Hoosier, the pre-filled kind. OMG if I would have only had that when I started I would have never started. At first I tried them and they were BURNT tasting... luckily I had some advice from kind members on here, and had watched youtube videos so I knew how to fill my first cartomizer, and I put the pre-filled away.

It's bugging me though. I have five packs of pre-filled's. I put a drop of juice in the atomizer, and then it works but I'm not sure how long though... last time it didn't seem like long, almost like a drip. Can any of you shed any light? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks again, I've never met a great team of Champions.:2cool:

Update: I inhaled probably five or six puffs, and I was just getting what I had put in there, then burnt again......

When you fill them, drip onto the filler around the perimeter, not down the hole in the middle. Keep rotating it around while dripping on the filler. When it looks saturated or starts dripping out the battery end then it's full. Blow a short blast of air through it to clear out excess into a tissue or something. I blow from the battery end so as not to blow juice into where I don't want it. Then you should be good to go.

I've never bought a pre-filled carto, but perhaps they didn't fill them enough? And some cartos supply the liquid to the coil better than others. I know that the Boges I have don't seem to wick the liquid to the coil as well as some others. I do have to redrip frequently. But it's a trade-off because they also don't clog as quickly either. I think that maybe the material around the center draw tube is heavier, helping it to not compress and clog the draw. But it also needs to be saturated to wick properly to the coil. I've found that putting them in a tank helps with that.

Hey enchanted.. if your KGO is like mine, you got prefilled CARTRIDGES,,, not cartomizers. Those cartridges go on top of your atomizer and frankly, I haven't had much luck with those atomizers. And I never even opened the filled cartridges that came with my kit. I'm a carto girl, all the way. I do use the atomizers to test new liquids, but even with that I still get a nasty burnt metal taste most of the time... getting a flavorful vape is really hit and miss with those atomizers. Get some cartomizers.. blank ones and fill them yourself.. way easier than messing with the atty/cartridge combo. And they last a lot longer.

I'm with you Luvinit! I do fill my cartomizers, I used the wrong wording in my post... :( These are prefilled cartridges, and I used with an atomizer, and they are burnt... I hate the burnt omgosh!!! I drip from time to time, but most of the time it's just not worth even one inhale of that burnt stuff.

I got a kGo kit this week myself, and I think those so called pre-filled cartridges are sort of dumb - very dry for sure. Since the ones I got had a tobacco flavor in them, I just added another tobacco juice (and actually even a fruity one!) to the cartridge to moisten it up, at least enough to prevent that burnt taste and so as not to just "waste" them. Since I didn't have any cartomizers arrive until the next day, that first day I only used the atty and cartridge. Worked ok, definitely nice to understand how to use it that way just in case I run out of cartos or something, but I like the cartos instead for sure.
