Case fetish - Has anyone seen this case for 901 in stock?

I really wanted this, but by the time I figured out my full order and went to place it, they were sold out of the case. I almost cried

So I was wondering if anyone has seen this case at another supplier?

I want this BAD BAD BAD haha! Some folks have weird fetishes. Well, I have a case fetish - my friends actually tease me about my case fetish. I have several cases that I carry in my backpack each day - each for its own little thing. Dont get me started on naming them all haha.

I have one very similar - only it's a paper box (a little thicker than a hard pack of cigs) but has the stiff foam inserts. Ask ProStreet where he bought his 901 kits, it came with the kit he sold me on the classifieds...

BTW - I don't use mine. PM me if interested in it...

Just looked at spreadsheet wholesale cost, this case only costs $2!

Don't buy it for $8 retail, even if he restocks it!

I'll try to find you a link I saw which had it for around $5.

Looks like a pretty simple plastic box with some foam inserts. You should be able to knock one of these up yourself after a quick trip to your local hobby store. I may have to give that a try myself.

its a cheap metal case.... i have one , never use it , wouldnt feel right giving it to any one else..... but thats me...all i use it for for 901 batterys cause thats the only thing that fits right and i ordered the 801 case... go figure... also its pretty tough to pull out of the foam so i stopped putting atomizers in it.

I bought a plastic cig box from a roll your own place on line, I used the foam inserts that came with my e-cig to push into that box and it turned out great!

You can buy metal boxes as well if you like that.

Thats pretty cool Wildsky - how did you cut the holes in the foam stuff?

I used the foam that came with my 901 and put it in an eyeglass case. I cut an extra pen hole in it, so I carry 2 full 901's in the case. But you can definitely tell where my cut was versus the original one from the initial 901 foam.

Vicks is sending me the cardboard one mentioned so I am thinking I already will have cut foam and will try to find a cool box to use it in that is more sturdy than the cardboard. And I do now have a metal case coming like the one in the pic. So it will be pretty cool to get them in and check em out. Maybe I will like it just as it is, or will use them to come up with an even cooler box.

I think I need to get a life haha.

Thats how the foam came with my 901. I cut off a piece of foam on the corners to fit in a little bottle of juice.

That's interesting - my 901 foam was different. This is what I did with mine.

My DSE came in a paper box, much like a cigarette box... hence I just pretty much moved all the insides to the plastic cig case - interesting!

A water proof case that is made from Unicorn tears and Aphrodite's hair or just plastic.

OH!!!! Cool - I have a few of those I use(d) for carrying my cigs when kayaking. Good idea !
