Any other degenerate gamblers, ahem--I mean casino frequenters like me, noticed that vaping is starting to become more prominent at casinos, especially in poker rooms? I work in a poker room as well as visit many poker rooms in my area (for business purposes of course!) and have noticed there are way more people vaping at the tables now than there were a year ago. Some casinos are even selling disposables. I mainly see disposables or e-go type devices, nobody has whipped out their provari or e-vic yet or crazy-... box mod yet, but that would be funny to see, especially the reactions it would get (Why is that guy blowing smoke from a female pleasure device?) Just curious if anybody else has noticed this in casinos, or any other public venues. I was at Staples Center for the Kings game and I also noticed people vaping on the patio. Hopefully society is becoming more acceptable of this, or it could just be that at casinos and sporting events, people are just too hammered to care!

We have a "gaming center" out here an the wife and I go every couple of weeks to watch the horses or spin reels.

I carry a unique box mod and got some attention from security the first couple if times I went, but they've gotten used to it.

I haven't seen any other vapers unfortunately, would be nice if it gained popularity, might be able to stay longer if the 2nd hand wasn't so heavy

I live about a half hour from Atlantic City. I'm not really a gambler, but I do frequent the restaurants here. I openly vape all over the place. I've only had one security guard question me, and after about 15 minutes of talking, and educating him. The only thing he wanted to know was where he could buy the setup I had.

I am from Colorado and havent seen anyone vaping around here, but I recently traveled through Reno on business and stopped by a casino. To my surprise I saw about 5 people vaping on egos. It was interesting because like I said I've never seen anyone vaping where I live and people are always questioning me about it. But at the casino I felt very comfortable and didnt even get strange looks while I was vaping like I usually do.

When I lived in Vegas, I was the only one vaping at the blackjack tables. Every new dealer would give me the same grief of the vv box mod I used back then (Thinking it was a magical card counting device). A holler to the pit boss always solved it, we were buddies and she knew what it was.
That was 2 years ago, I am sure it has caught on much more since.

Living in Vegas I have to say that vaping has really started to gain momentum. And since most casinos out here all allow cig smoking I dont see any reason why they would have a prob with vaping. Or any establishment that allows smoking for that matter. I vape almost everywhere I go now with litte to no problems. Most just want to know what it is and I educate them. I've gottem most of my close friends to start and quit cigs. But if I am asked to stop for what ever reason I just stop. It really isnt any dif then when I smoked and wasnt allowed to in places.

I have only been in a casino once since I started vaping. It was in a smoking casino in Indiana. I am pretty sure I am the first one they had seen because security was on my *** the entire time. He was trying to sneak peeks at me when my blue led light lit up. I suppose he finally figured it out because after 2 hours of hiding behind slot machines he finally walked away, lol.

Just got back from Vegas last week and used a Provari at the table everytime I was playing. Mixed reaction from most people - some ignored and didn't say a word, others asked what it was. I've been using mine everywhere - although I'll admit that I don't flagrantly blow vapor everywhere if I'm say in a bar or restaurant. I find that asking forgiveness vs permission is much easier...so maybe if I mind my own business and be casual it will go without comment.

Only issue I had was at a non smoking table I was sitting at. The pit boss told me you can't smoke on the table. I showed him the device, told him it was an ecig and just blew water vapor. He said he had to check with management and came back a few mins later and said it was ok to use. He said the main concern he had now that he knew what it was - was that a smoker might think it OK to light up at the table. I was happy to educate him.

Last time i was in Vegas, I vaped everywhere. I was using my VMODxl. It fits perfectly into an old cell phone case I have. The case has a D ring & I hook a lanyard to it so I can hang it around my neck.
I was at a roulette table in Bills Saloon. I set the the rig down on the table as I was playing & a pit boss walked up to tell me no cell phones at the table. I picked it up, showed it to him & told him what it was. He said no problem.

I am a dealer down here in Biloxi, MS. I get a vaper on my table every once in a while, and most use either Ego or cigarette styled ecigs. We will even have vaping discussions on the table and involve all the customers, as most are actually interested in vaping. It doesn't matter if they smoke or not. I also have educated quite a few smokers on my table about vaping gear and recommended setups and local B&Ms that have good customer service. I will even pull out my ZMax/ViviNova setup out of my pocket to show what a larger mod is.

On a side note, all of us dealers work in an environment where smoking is normal. We are around smoking for 8 hours per day. I am not saying we don't have adequate ventilation, but are always reminded of cigarettes. Out of the dealers I work with that are former or present smokers, I would say a solid third of us have converted to vaping and are now ex-smokers. I only started vaping once I saw other dealers successfully switch and was amazed that, for me, I have never even wanted to light up since I started.

Once the seeds of vaping are sown, they do grow and vaping is definitely growing much more popular.
