I've had my ProVari for about two months. I'll agree it's built like tank, but it's not indestructible.

A couple weeks ago I was juggling my phone, laptop bag, and ProVari when it slipped out of hands, down a half-flight of brick stairs, rolled for 20ft over a curb and into the street! This was a catastrophic tumble. I expected it to be in a hundred pieces.

Upon retrieval, it was clear the ProVari was badly scraped up but it fired right back up. More shocking was that my attached VIVI NOVA didn't sustain any damage. Sadly, I soon realized the little ignition button was shattered. Everything else was scraped badly, but intact.

I contacted ProVape and they responded in 15 minutes saying the could easily fix it. $10 and that included return shipping. Got my ProVari back today and couldn't be happier. Sure it's got some battle scars, but it's functionally flawless now. Morale of the story, you get what you pay for and that includes kicking post sale support.

vape On.

I need to send mine into ProVape. I keep it in the knee pocket of my cargo pants and it's always getting banged into stuff at work. It's starting to get a bit flaky and I'm almost certain that something is up with the switch.

It also won't stay off for some reason. I'll turn it off before going to bed (I check it too) and when I get up in the morning it's back on. There's something going on with it.

Sorry to read of your misfortune. I think I would have a heavy heart if that happened to my own Provari. But it is heartening and reassuring to know that Provape came through again with stellar customer service. Yes, we DO get what we pay for.

I can't say for certain if it would have made much difference in such a nasty tumble, but had your Provari been wearing a protective sleeve, at least it would not have gotten scraped up, and perhaps even the ignition button would have been protected.

SerenityGear Leather makes leather sleeves for most popular mod brands.

I made a rubber sleeve from an $8 dirt bike motorcycle grip. It is thick enough the ignition button is protected despite the little window that I cut out with an exacto knife.

i just swung a deal in the classifieds....soon i'll have the provari mini in addition to my provari V2....i dropped the V2 ONCE when i was getting out of my truck....

the concrete chipped, NOT the provari.

this is reason number 1,368 that the provari is the standard of excellence when it comes to vaping.

I was looking at the Provari, but I tend to drop/fumble things and it is always the most expensive thing that I am holding in my hands at the moment. If its over 100 bucks I will drop/damage/spill on/destroy it. The chances of me dropping/damaging/spiiling on/destroying exponentially go up the more money over 100 bucks that I spent on it, whatever 'it' is.
For that reason...I'm skeered to get a Provari, lol

you shouldn't be....they are expensive, sure....but they're probably the closest thing to military grade that PVs get...they are the sherman tanks of the vaping world....when you put one in your hands, you just know this thing can survive an explosion...i'm fairly confident i can tie it to a vehicle and drive around a few miles before pulling over to retrieve it and casually take a vape.

I complete agree. They're tanks. My drop would have absolutely destroyed any other PV I own. The ProVari suffers a few scrapes and $10 button repair. It's the best.

Yep..I would need industrial grade for real.
I am also pretty adept at falling down stairs. Almost dropped a butcher knife on my foot one time.
You see my problem, lol

i figured the moral of the story was to not juggle the provari. anyway, glad it all worked out. great to hear they stand behind the product. i always try to buy from vendors with good cs and warranty.
