... for a more Canadian oriented theme of what's what regarding the import and purchasing issues I'd contact vendors for base facts on the "market" side of things, and contact Hawt, Rachel, and Blondie (reeeeally sorry if I misspelled those eek), for issues on the consumer side since they appear to be quite organized with info to somehow miraculously pull it out of thin air when needed, lolol.....
LOL... Thanks, Greg... I think.
One of the best resources you're going to find for a Canadian perspective is
Tobaccoharmreduction.org. This is the website created and maintained by Carl Phillips, PhD and his research team. Dr. Phillips is the one who spearheaded the research on the e-cig at the University of Alberta. You'll find almost all the info you could ask for there regarding
tobacco harm reduction, nicotine, e-cigs and other smokeless
tobacco products... as well as links to pertinent studies that are not found on the site.
Because you are dealing with a journalist, I recommend the same as other posters here: Keep the interview to your personal experiences. As Kat said, ask him for a list of questions he would like to ask - he should have no problem with this. Don't even attempt to be the "expert" - there are plenty of them out there, as per site I listed above (and I'm sure CASAA gave you a list also).
Give him the background and contact info to anyone else relevant to the story (my bet is that it wouldn't be too hard to get Dr. Phillips involved, either) and let the JOURNALIST do the research. It's HIS job, and any journalist worth his
salt will do his due diligence before airing a story. It's in his best interests. (Unless he/she works for FOX.
