Was listening to CBS Sports Radio in the SF Bay Area tonight and they did about a one minute segment on electronic cigarettes. They interviewed the owner of the Vapor Den in Berkeley asking why people were taking up e-cigs, he said something about not having carcinogens and being similar to smoking.

CBS said the market for e-cigs this year in the US might be $1 Billion and that recent commercials are getting a lot of people trying them and interested in them as a replacement for cigarettes.

Nothing negative at all, it was very positive. I hope to see lots more positive mainstream media coverage :)

Very good! Or is it? First, threaten with total ban, then, ok you all can keep e-cigs but in the interest of public safety, we must control/regulate the thing. Then the big corporations will move in & run all of the vendors we have grown to know & love out of the market. Then we get to pay protection money. We can keep our ecig as long as we pay for the privilege.
Sorry to be a neg nellie, but that,s how they roll. But at least we get to keep vaping, albeit, at a higher cost.

really I don't see an issue with someone like BT getting into selling PVs. Reason, they want exposure and saturation of the market and that means they want as many vendors selling their products as they can. So P Morris might make a ton of Cartos, but they will need Walgreens, or Joe's vaps online to actually sell them. Remember BT is a manufacturer, not a vendor. Just like we buy eGos from our independant dealer, so will we buy the cartos from BT. Also think about other smokes. Hand rolled cubans still get bought dailey even though they are rolled by a mom and pop vendor.
