I'll stay away from the clear ones, they tend to break and leak.
For CCV, well, I used to buy all my cartos there until a few weeks ago they took the payment and never sent the cartos, not only me but many people. I actually had to open 2 tickets and when that did not work I emailed and finally got my refund.
Also the quality is not there anymore, out of 40 1.7 cartos ( 20 black and 20 SS ) 32 were duds. I contacted them and never heard back.
I am not saying they are a bad suppliers but poor customer service will push me away in a hurry. there are many others selling the same carto. get the smoke-tec 1.7 - Ikenvape, madvapes etc

The Ressurectors are awesome. They are the only cartos I use on my Epower and they work great. CCV was really backed up in December, but now their back to how they were before. I placed an order last week and it was shipped within 24hours.
I find the Ressurectors to be very consistant and they can last a pretty long time depending on the juice your using. Higher VG juices will clog all cartos faster and if you can try to stay away from juices that contain flavoring sediments. I find juices that contain sediments to clog cartos faster than anything, even if the juice is mostly PG.
Like others said, I would get the black or SS. The clear ones don't hold up nearly as well and if you crack the tube slightly, they most likely will leak alittle. The metal ones can take much more of a beating.
To get good use out of them it's very important that you fill them correctly, but really that's with all cartos. The Ressurectors hold a tad bit over 2ml so make sure you fill them correctly, especially for the first fill, and don't let them get dry or you will burn them.
They work great by themselves and are awesome in a tank. Both CCV and Hoosier sell pre-punched 1.7ohm XL cartos(Ressurectors) for the Smoktech tanks. CCV sells them in 5-packs and Hoosier sells singles. They have the metal base on them too like the pre-punched dual coil carto that comes in the Smoktech tanks. You don't have to use a carto with a metal base, but they are kinda nice bc the base stops the tank from sliding down. I use the 3.5ml tank on my Epower and it works great. I don't like dual coils on lower voltages so I took out the DC carto that comes with the tank and just use the Ressurectors instead and they work a lot better. The hole in the pre-punched cartos is small, but works great with mostly PG juices. I use an 80/20 juice in one tank and the small hole feeds the 80/20 juice with no problems. For thicker, mostly VG juices though you most likely would need to make the hole bigger for the tank to feed juice to the carto well.

As far as reliability, I find that the Ressurectors are generally consistant. I'm sorry, but I call total BS on getting 32 duds out of 40. If your getting that many, your def doing something wrong. All cartos have occasional duds and DOAs, but 32 out of 40 is because of user error, not the carto. I fill all my Ressurectors with a syringe and have never had one burn. I've bought at least 20 5-packs of the Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos, mostly from CCV, but also a pack or two from Hoosier and a bunch of pre-punched one from Hoosier. Out of about 100 Reasurectors, I've never had one that was DOA. I did have 2 cartos that for some reason wouldn't wick right, even though the carto was full, but CCV sent me another 5-pack for free to replace them. 2 cartos out of 100 is one thing bc like I said, theres always occasional duds, but if 32 out of 40 arnt working right, your doing something wrong

It could be theoretically possible to have 32 out of 40 be duds. If there was some sort of manufacturing defect and the cartos were all consecutively produced before the defect was found. Not sure how likely that is, but it is possible.

I have had a few in a row before that were a little... special.

As for the different types, I use the stainless in tanks (well now I use pre-punched ones for that) and the black ones are good for not using in tanks (people still do that, right?). The clear ones aren't that great, but it is kind of fun to see what goes on inside a carto. I consider the clear ones a little bit of a novelty.

i just recieved my clear resurrectors xl 1.7 last friday from CCV only 1 out of 5 actually worked properly and were actually 1.7ohms. the rest were 2.1 and performed terrible. i went back to my boges LR cartomizers, and ordered two more boxes of boges LR from a different vendor. i dont really trust ccv any longer. not really there fault, but where ever they are buying there 1.7's from are having a quality control issue. i used CCV's werther juice at 70vg/30pg on 3 of them and all 3 wouldnt work right, or wick properly, no flavor no throat hit, barely any vapor. the one that did work was 70/30vg and it just started to give me burnt taste as of today. CCV offered to replace them (not directly to me, but in a previous post) if i mailed them back, but i wont be doing that. not going to pay to send busted cartos back. besides i threw a few of them out already and took apart the others to see if there was anything inside that was causing the issue. i couldnt find anything wrong with the guts of them. make sure if you buy them you fill them with a syringe, so you get down to the bottom of the filler. i tried everything to get them to work with no success. good luck
