between here and there
I found the holes -- turns out (at least with these ones) there's an o-ring inside that you also need to remove before you can get at them. I think on my trip out to the farm I'm going to pick up a metal needle and dull the end; the plastic one that came with the cartos kept wanting to kink on me.

Good idea about the needle...I don't know why the manufactors ever thought those plastic thingys would work.....they probably don't use them either.....lol
and I use a reg 20gauge hyperdormic(sp).....fits in nicely.....just don't poke yourself. lol

I really wanted to like them, but I vape too much so it becomes a pain to fill the little buggers over and over, and I can't fit more than .6-.8ml in the ones I have. Who wants to carry a syringe with them just to fill carts?

"No officer its just to fill my vaporizer!"

Needle tip bottles rock if you're into the CE2.

I keep a handfull filled in an empty altoid tin. When one goes empty...just screw on another. With 10 or so in rotation...I don't have to refill them but a couple times a week. I do use both regular and XL ones....

Also, check out the Vortex cartos....these are soooooooooooo easy to fill.

I got a box to try yesterday.
So far I like them.
I would say the vape on it is as good as the CE2, but it is a little different (cooler). The draw is different. For some flavors and situations...I still like the CE2 better...but time will tell.

These are DEFINATELY easier to set up and use. Just fill and vape....
The wick in it is so short...you can totally change flavors with a few drags..........even empty out half a tank and put in something new if ya really wanted.

On this first batch, the mouthpiece is a little loose for a leak-proof portable PV...but...you can easily pop in your own drip tip, or use the plugs from one of your CE2s (the flat ones or the wistle tip ones). They'll seal off fine with those....and they say the next batch will have the mouth-pieces (which are different and actually feel nice to me) fixed so they fit tighter.

Will just have to see how long they last and how much abuse they'll take :)

I highly recommend the Vortex. I got mine yesterday. This baby leaves the CE2 tanks and carto's in the dust. The flavor is excellent, the vapor is amazing, and for the first time since I started vaping in Oct 10, I got a TH. Also, you can back to back vape and no dry spots. I give it two thumbs and a toe up!

Be careful with the YouTube videos ;). I was removing the ceramic cap seal on my first set of CE2s to fill (a 'tip' from YouTube) and ended up ripping the seals. Definitely not portable without the cap seal. You can use the plastic 'needles' to fill (I've been using the same one for 2 weeks) you just need to put a drop of juice over the cap seal so the needle will slide easily into the little hole. (Then a quick swipe with a tissue so you don't get a wet draw :) )

@ sluers I think I will get the Vortex after the ce2's get used up, thanks for the tip on that....@ Tomcatt the u-tube vids give me ideas what I do is cut the wick right be the cup, just to leave just a little bit of wick left & leave out the little rubber cup thing, put back the rubber seal , then add my drip-tip give a tilt to my ego let the juice run into the cup & vape, works great !

I have to say, I'm hating my clearomizers. The first ones I got for my 808 leak from top to bottom and anywhere in between. The new ones I recently got with a 510 connection don't leak at all, but they make my juices taste DISGUSTING. I heard that these were pre-burned wicks so the flavor wouldn't be off, but OMG, it's OFF.
Also, I don't use needles to fill. I pull out the o-ring, the silicone plug, then drip down the sides.

John,
Don't tip the CE2 too far without the cap seal or you'll get a 'toot of juice' LOL I've made a box mod since removing the seals from my first CE2s. I'll probably go back to them since I can now stand them up straight on the box mod. Still, can't pre-fill and store them without them leaking.

Maybe a stormy tank would do you right :)
You can build variants of these yourself, or just buy them from her.

Tomcatt; I just checked the 2 "modded" ce2's I made up and turned them up-side down for about 4 min. and no leak, yea !.Also had them on there sides no leaks, just befor I took a drag I blew into yhe drip-tip a little ( like you would do if you were dripping) & no mouth full of juice works great, no probs, maybe lucky !
