CE2 Fluxomizers

I recently switched to some 1.7ohm fluxomizers, I previously had done some research and it had been determined that the Egos cause a metallic taste with these. I'm just wondering if anybody knows the reason behind this, as i find it extremely strange that I get the taste on my Ego, and immediately pull it off the ego onto another non-ego battery and it tastes perfectly fine.

Nevermind guys, resolved this by taking out the innermost ring (the one with the syringe holes) and just using the center ring...doesnt leak and allows for better wicking which was probably my issue.
