Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and really happy to be on here. There is a question I would like to ask and I was hoping to get some help from fluxomizer users.

I recently purchased CE2 Fluxomizer Deluxe and I absolutely loved it. In my opinion, it is much better than cartomizers with sponge-like absorbent in it. So I was having good times with fluxomizers.

Then I decided to wash it since I refilled 4 or 5 times. I washed it with hot water twice and dry burned it. Also, I modded fluxomizer by taking out all the rubber plugs and pushed in the flipped middle ring against the ceramic cup. I also filled it up with ejuice and let it soak overnight.

I tried to vape it this morning and I am getting tons of vapors, but I cannot taste the ejuice at all. It is like TASTELESS VAPOR  Could anyone please suggest any ideas or if there is anything I could do? I would be very appreciated!!!

In my opinion your wicks are still saturated with water. It may have been a better idea to allow the wicks to dry before adding any juice to the cartomizer.

This is how I clean mine. I removed the tube, run the wicks under hot water and then blot them dry with a paper towel. I then soak them in pure grain alcohol, vodka will also work. I only soak them for maybe 15 seconds and then blot them dry and repeat. I then take a hair dryer and dry the wicks which takes maybe 30 to 45 seconds. My theory is the alcohol will displace the water in the wicks, pure grain alcohol evaporates very quickly. I then do a dry burn, assemble, fill with juice and vape.

It depends how long you waited between washing with water and filling it up with juice. Once you lightly pat the wicks, they dry within about 2 minutes. If you didn't pat at all and you waited only 10 seconds, then yes it might be water, in which case you have to just vape through it. It might take 20 pulls, but if it's just water, the flavor will eventually bloom.

What juice are you using? Is it PG or VG or mix? VG will take a lot longer for the flavor to come into effect.

You can try putting a drop of juice directly onto the coil.

I agree, it sounds like the wicks are saturated with water. It will eventually vape properly, as soom as the juice replaces the water. Several draws on it, and the flavor should start to return.
I clean mine by removing the ring and the tube, and soaking everything in Everclear for a few minutes. I blot dry the wicks, and then quickly dry them the rest of the way with a butane lighter.
Then dry burn at 3.3 volts, until whatever is on the coil turns to white ash. Blow the ash off with a quick blast of air, like the cans of air you clean electronics with.
Reassemble, fill, and let it sit for 10 minutes or so.
Vape away.

Thank you so much guys for the response and detailed explanation!!!

I just cleaned it again and I will write down the steps how I did this time.
1. Disassembled everything (taking out the ring and the tube)
2. Since I don't have any alcohol or vodka, I washed everything (tube, wicks, ring) with hot water
3. Blotted everything including the wicks with paper towel and dried with hair dryer
4. Dried the wicks with my lighter and dry burned with Halo G6 (3.7 volts) since that's all I have. Then, wicks wrapped in
coils created white ash and I blew the ash off.
5. Reassembled and filled it with BWB's espresso (70% PG and 30% VG)
6. I dropped few drops directly into the coil and tilted upside down for an hour now

I haven't vaped yet and I am sorry for a stupid question and asking you guys for an advice. I haven't vaped yet because the wicks wrapped with coils would not turn to the same color as the ejuice. It is just staying that white ash color. Is it normal? Or it hasn't soaked yet? Or is there another step I need to do (like vape few time, etc)?

I just rinse with hot water then wrap a piece of paper towel or tissue around it foe a couple minutes to soak out the water.

Then dry burn till I see the wires, scrape with a toothpick, blow out, dry burn some more till I see the wires, then put back together and fill and Vape. If the wicks still have some residual water it fades to flavor in a minute or so. I usually do this once a day.

Thank you again Katatonik!!! Also, thank you everyone!!!

It was like magical  I got my ejuice taste back. If anyone is reading this thread or someone who is new to Fluxosomizer, I want to say don't be afraid.

I am a person who gets confused easily when I don't have a manual LOL But this method works, just pull few times and it will be all good. Thank you again for your help :)

Good Deal...

Once you get a Mod-ing/Cleaning tech down, CE2's are a Great Carto.

One Thing though...

I hear a Lot of people Mention that they let the CE2 sit for an Hour, or Over Night in a Few Cases, after Filling. Why?

Think about it. If it takes 1 Hour for the e-Liquid to go from CE2 Tank to the Coil, how well is this goig to work? Are you going to need to wait 1 Hour Between Hits?

Even if you don't put a Drop or Two on the Coil/Wick after a Refill, the time it takes you to put the Mouth Piece on and Screw the CE2 onto your PV is enought to Fully Saturate the Wick.

No Need to Wait an Hour after Filling.

I just tip them near horizontal after filling, for a couple seconds, and they're good to go.
