OK, just out of curiousity, I tried a package of CE3s. Purple ones, of course. :p No-one seems to like them, but strangely enough I do. Yeah, ok, they gurgle and leak like a seive while I refill, but once it's together, it works fine.

In design they are similar to Sapphire, yes? Element on the bottom, wick sticking up, etc. When I tried the Sapphires the two that I ordered both worked great for about ten minutes, and then the wick separated, juice leaked out, and that's was that.

Now, all things considered, I prefer a good Sapphire to a CE3 from another company. Badkolo, you mentioned that a new revision of Sapphires is coming out - will this problem be addressed? (I know a couple of other folks that had that happen).

If so, I can't wait to get them. Purple, if possible.

I got about 50 bucks sitting here just waiting for the bombs do drop...

Cheers.

I got a CE3 as a freebie, in purple too. On first fill it leaked out the bottom like a faucet. Vapes like a champ though. On my next fill I used an cart condom covered the bottom, filled it, used a Vortex mouthpiece as a replacement for that stupid little plug since it sits perfectly on it and seals the fill port & sits flush with it seated all the way in. Flipped it upside down, pulled off the condom, waited 30 seconds for the reservoir to equalize & screwed it on my PV upside down. No leaks from either end. Haven't used it since the 5th fill but still in my drawer just in case I run out of fluxos. Thought about ordering more but I'll wait to see what GV has in store. At least I have a way of getting these to work out for me.

The ce3 leaking problem when filling is remedied easily but putting a condom on the atomizer end. They vape great. The first pack of Sapphires I got worked great. I bought two more packs though and both leaked everywhere and not just when filling.

ce3s are much cheaper than sapphires...$9.75 for 5 instead of 6.95 for 2...and you get a free delrin when you get the ce3s

sapphires are easier to fill though

Just tried the vortex mouthpiece for the CE3. Works great. Maybee just my imagenation, but even tastes better. Thank you for the tip.

I don't know what it is, but CE3s don't taste good to me for some reason. They taste "plasticy"... Just not quite right.

But I can't tame the Sapphire either. I have the older version, don't know if the new ones will make a difference... At first I had it flood into the air tube immediately upon fill and then leak out the bottom. Daniel told me to put the plug in tighter. I did, and the the first fill went great. Good vapor, good taste, good wicking.. But I can't seem to top it off. As soon as I open the plug, it floods again. I put the condom on the bottom (the one with the plug that goes into the hole on the battery end). Filled it ok. But now the draw is so tight, I get dizzy... I just don't know what's wrong - it seems to work for other folks, and I really want it to work for me... :(
