Was vaping like a champ - except at first I had to adjust the bottom tube to make sure the connection was good - but now - the KGO 1100mah just keeps blinking and the CE4 wont fire at all - just like it did when I was brand new and had to adjust it. Put another brand new one on works great. I have adjusted the bottom several times - just wont fire. Any advice on what is going on and how to fix it. It is only a week old - is it dead? Should I bury it? Thanks.

Never had a KGO, but I would think "blinking" would probably mean a shorted device or something. If you have a multimeter, check the resistance of the assembled device. But I think you'll need to get rid of that one. I'm assuming that 'adjusting the bottom' means you are pulling the pin outward to make it longer and make better battery contact. If so, don't pull it out very far, and don't turn it while doing so. Just pull straight out.

Turn your meter on to the ohms scale (it's the horseshoe symbol). If there is more than one, pick the lowest range. Put one meter lead on the outside of the mounting screw, and touch the other lead to the center positive pin on the bottom of the CE4. The meter will then read the ohms (resistance) of the CE4.

After you are finished, turn the meter off. DO NOT try to check anything but resistance on the ohms scale; in other words, don't use the ohms scale to check your battery's voltage.

The dial is divided up into sections. There should be one section with the Ω symbol.
Use the lowest or next to lowest setting depending on your multimeter. Don't select anything with a k or m after it as those are for higher resistance.
Check to make sure the test leads are plugged in to the proper spots. The red should be V or Ω and the black on 'COM' or ground.
Touch the two leads together to get your multimeters internal resistance so you can minus this number from your clearos readings to get the 'actual'.
Example: Internal resistance is 00.5 and the clearo reads 03.1, then the actual is 2.6Ω

Did the ohm check - is it supposed to keep fluctuating? 0.5 to like 3 - tested another one I know works - was doing the same thing. Got ...... and cleaned it out - soaking in vodka for a couple of hours...........will test it on the battery again - if it dont work - guess it is dead

I get that all the time.....your not making good contact. Just try to hold it steady and firm.

well - cleaned it up - turns out this was the CE4 with the replaceable heads (i had ordered one of these and 4 disposables). Seems like when I had taken the tip off to refill the juice, the tip was turning the rubber head that is over the tube. Reassembled it and it seems to be working ok......thanks for the assistance....

I picked up a few more of the CE4+ CC, after the wife gave them to her girlfriends before I could test them.
I am not a fan at all. Everyone says they perform better at lower voltages and the reason why is that they don't wick very well at all.
I even cleaned them in PGA; hot water rinse and dried.
Whatever they used for wicking material fails. The heads that I received have 5 strands and I found the draw to be stiff, much like the v1 stardust.
Not to mention that the flavor produced by these is not that great either.
