Thought I'd do some pics showing how easy it is to take apart CE4+ Plus cartos for cleaning and dry-burning etc.

And no cracks!

And here is my first YouTube vid showing how to...
(The carto in the vid had about 4 fills use, then dismantled, washed and dry-burned before the vid.)

You make it look so easy. I've tried this twice, but I couldn't get the bottom part off. I might have a slightly different item than you (although it looks identical).

But I washed them out, blew them dry, and tried dry burning. It took me about 6-8 ten-second burns before the smoke started coming. I did it about five more times and stopped because I didn't want to burn up the wicking. I never did see any red. The Clearomizers work a tiny bit better, but nothing like when they were new.

They look identical, but the CE4+ is slightly (about 30%) bigger.
You probably have the Vision eGo /Stardust type that the tube doesn't seem to be able to be pulled off as easily...

But you should still be able to do the same with tube on -

Fill them up with water, shake and repeat a few times. The newer ones with a cone (I think he means what I call the nipple) need to be dry burned in the dark to enable you to see the coil glowing. Usually takes a dozen 5 secs on ten secs off to glow. Fill with juice and then within 4/5 vapes the juice wicks through .

So what is this? The CE4+ V2? Looks like the newer ones lack the silly ring around the bottom of the plastic tank, which seemed to be the main source of crack problems.

Does that nipple/cone slip right inside the mouthpiece? That seems like a good idea. I wonder if I can mod mine... it would make them line up better, that's for sure.

Well, anyway, I just flipped the metal thing over so I now have a nipple... it was a tough squeeze but it seems to work.

John: dry-burn until you see no smoke... I do mine in 5-10 second intervals and blow it out... repeat until no smoke comes out. You can't burn the wick... it's silica and resistant to 1500ish degrees Celsius. My coils and wick have endured this dozens of times already... My wicks are as white as the day I got them (3 months ago).
