Im having a big problem with those clearomizers...

Im using an Ego Twist / Ego T battery, and seem to find it very hard to drag those clearo's...
when they are not connected to the battery, the airflow thru them is great, but just after the first screw twist, in order to connect them to the battery, and flow drops by 60-70%, and if screwed to till they are tight to the battery, flow is restricted even more.

as a result, the vapor production is poor, and I need to set 0.5 - 1 volts higher to get a bit of vapor out of them.

if it has anything to do with it- Im on 100% DIY VG juice (thinned with 10% water), and have no issues with it in other settings.

what is wrong with those clearo's? tried more than 6 of them, and problem occurs with all 3 V1-2-3 models.

Help?!

Yeah, people have talked about this and I got a 510 to 510 adaptor in the mail (I should say here that other's have suggested the ego to 510 adaptor but, that one has the threads for the ego cone to screw into and the idea here is to get more space around the clearomizer skirt to increase airflow so, not sure that one would work as good as the 510 to 510 but, I have not tried either yet).

But... one thing you should remember... is that less air flow means a higher concentration of vapor vs air.

So, get a 510 to 510 adaptor and then decide whether you like the clearomizers better with this or without.

That is my plan.

I got the 510 to 510 adaptor and posted this in another thread but, because this was discussed here...

The 510 to 510 adaqptor, worked as far as increasing air flow, maybe doubling the air flow. But, with this you get a greater percentage of air in your vape and thus a bit less flavor. You can of course vape slower but, hard to say which is best here. Worth getting one of these if you use vision clearomizers and making your own decision.

I'm really struggling with this issue as well. The generic clearos, the vision brand names, the rebuildables... all of them so far have this lack of air flow issue for me. They seem to get worse after time as well, not sure but I hear its because the post gets pushed down farther.

I've hear of people drilling small holes in the clearo, but I don't know enough about how they work to know where to make some pin size holes. Anyone know were to put them or have a picture of were the holes should go?

Also, the 510 to 510 adapter sounds like something I would try. Although I don't see how it would help since the clearo would still be connected to same way as before... I'm a little lost here. I've looked up the adapters and see a grip of differant ones under the same name. Here's a link of one I've found that I belive is what was mentioned in this thread. Can someone take a look at this link and tell me if this is what everyone is talking about: 510 to [510] Adapter/Extender

Thanks for the help. I'm getting rather frustrated here. Even the. Vivi nova I just got doesn't have the air flow I'm looking for.
