Yes that's right! Censorship! UNBELIEVABLE! And I am PO'd. It has come to my attention, that posts are being censored, deleted by mods and people banned because of it. Here I am a new vaper, who has spend a pile of money, close to a grand, on ecigs and equipment from suppliers, and have learned a great deal in the last 2 months of vaping from the people on this forum including registered supplies and personal vapers. And then to find a product not offered in North America that I am aware of is having posted deleted and members banned for asking questions. Posting about a product on this forum, to gain further knowledge and possible purchase of a product in hopes to continue to enhance my vaping experience, has been taken away from me and others in the group.
I have read the rules on registered suppliers and have found that if a registered supplier promotes their product they will have that post deleted and then banned from the forum. And yet I am researching what exactly was being promoted or what rules have been breached and have not come up with a conclusion.
I started a post not long ago regarding a product I am very interested in purchasing, and a registered supplier, whom was asked and invited to post by me was banned and deleted. I asked this individual to shed some light and answer any questions our group had on this product. I really don't get these rules here, and find that because of the censorship, people whom are interested in a product who actually came here to learn, may be left in the dust. This has come as quite a shock to me, and a dismay, as a forum like this should be used to educate on healthy living, great products as well as any information a person may need to make a sound and well educated decision when switching over from analogs to vaping. I have yet to decide whether or not I will stay on this forum because of it.
I figured, as a forum such as this, whom's soul purpose is to bring the world together where we can all help each other fight against the government whom is trying to ban ecigs altogether, be more healthy in our lives, and fight the nasty world of addiction together, prove to the world that there is a way to stop analogs completely and gain an amazing amount of knowledge on what will work best for individuals on the road to healthy living, that because of the censorship in our own Canadian forum, where freedom of speech in this country is somthing we boast about, I am now asking myself if this is a place I need to unsub from completely and move on.
I feel very concerned here with the rules and find that my rights have been violated. I believe in my whole heart, that this incident that has occurred was wronged in so many many ways. The moderators of this group, I feel, have over stepped their boundaries, and I feel it has taken away vital information that I as well as others, needed to improve the vaping experience. I believe the thousands of folks in the Canadian forum have been duped by the moderators from making rash, and misinformed decisions.
I am having a conversation outside this forum regarding this incident that may sway me to join another forum where free speech, and knowledge are shared freely and openly.
It is my wish that the mod who censored information explain why, and the purpose of the censorship so I may understand why these rules are put into place so stringently. I have also personally had other incidents where my freedom of speech on here has been challenged, thus prompting me to delete a thread as to not ruffle any feathers. I really have come to realize that the uncomfortable feeling I get here, is not worth my time or my well being. I hope this can come to a resolution and some understanding for me and any others that have participated in my thread regarding a new product on the market.
