Center pin help?

For some reason on my Lambo lava tube the center pin doesn't spring up all the way and doesn't make a full connection to my cartos would a 510 to 510 adapter solve the problem?

Some cartos have too long a pin and can push in a mods positive pin. You can try pulling it out a bit with a papercli with a bent "L" end. Same with the cartos, you can also give it a bit of a pull for more contact.

an adapter wouldn't solve the issue...if a carto isn't making connection neither would an adapter, use some tweezers and pull the center pin out a little, if it's one of those spring loaded center pins then...i don't know.

Yeh it's spring loaded.. I've tried pulling it out it stays up but when I put on a carto it falls back down

I have the same problem but I pulled my center pin and it came out, I carefully stuck it in and it works but it’s no longer spring loaded. is there a solution to it or some designer schematic diagram so I can fix it ? help please!

There's an electrical wire attached to the center pin in most cases. You could be in trouble.....use caution. What make/model lost the center pin?

I know this issue all too well. Here is the issue, juice has seeped out of your attached carto and has collected into the spring loaded pin connection (the pin and spring sit into a casing that is soldered to the board) and has gunked up the spring (and is possibly deteriorating the spring) and it is not springing back up.There is no way to clean that area safely and without damaging/destroying your Lambo. An adapter might work for a little while but eventually the pin will fall too far down and this will not work anymore. My solution to the problem was to replace the Lambo with a different mod with a "fixed/floating" center pin connection. My Lambo sits on a shelf now......

I have had some luck with these.... Circuit Board Spacer

The center portion is conductive and will extend the reach of the center pin.

The outside perimeter is electrically insulated.

You might want to only use these in a protected device.

I had a dodgy Vivi nova once that carved rings around my provari centre pin, I worry that one day it might just conk out. I wish I could find a replacement or easily repair it.

I have the chrome lavatyube the pin got stuck inside stopped working and I don’t have a back up. after a day of no vaping with withdrawal symptoms . decided I have to fix. so with tweezers I took out the pin and with needle I took out the spring that got stuck inside the small tube. Stretch out the spring and cleaned the small tube and stuck the spring back in and the pin and it worked again .now I have to order a new pv not to get stuck again !
