Hey there Reonauts,

I noticed this morning that my center post on my mini seemed to have been squished by me over-tightening a 306 in it to remove my SS drip tip. Is there anyway for me to put it back in place by myself or does that mean it needs a trip see Rob, if it would I'd be squeezed since my grand would need a trip too and i cant afford 2 different shipments at this moment, and as you all know a life without a Reo ... well it just ain't life. I can post pictures later even tho I don't thinks its needed.

Please make it so i can fix it :D

Thanks to ya allz

When you move the connector end like that it re-seats the center in the gasket. The gasket should be able to take some movement.. Over time the gasket could crack. It is always best to NOT tighten down atty's or cartos. It will wear out the gasket sooner and you will short out atty's.

I will try tonight from home and come back with feedback!!! But i have all hopes now since you answered

(And yes I'm slacking off of work to actually post on ECF...many times a day *sigh*)

/me throws down Reonaut gang signs

P.S.: Thanks for the advice Nerak, I usually never over tighten my atties but that damn 306 SS canon drip tip is a badass to remove... and I usually remove them from another mod like my Prodigy V3 but I didn't have it handy this morning

We should come up with a Reonaught gang sign so I can rep REO in my home town.

You may be able to make an adjustment. Though I don't know for sure if this will work: remove your battery & atty. Then try to grab the feed tube as close as possible to the nipple it's attached to and push gently upwards. It shouldn't move much... :)
Great advice it should work :)

So I semi-fixed my center post, I think I was too gentle so its a little less slanted but still not right so I'll give it another push tonight from home, I just don't want to hurt my precious mini!!!

I'll bring back some more updates if I can ever fix it to the point I don't feel it needs to travel

Better to be safe with a little push! You can do it! Please let us know!
