had the opportunity to handle one... I like the layout of the center post... altho the one I looked at was a clone, ( no name box) I did find one issue that kept me from getting it. The lower metal portion below the Oring on the base was a bit too wide, once you pushed the sleeve all the way down, it was impossible to move it to change the airflow. Thinking it may have been a dry Oring causing the issue, I removed the Oring and tried it again. Same issue... the tolerances between the sleeve and base are too close.... its almost a press fit

Make sure that the O ring is the red one. The black one is too large and you do have to position the holes before you snap it into place. With the red one, it's still a tight fit but can be adjusted while in place.

Here is my current build. 6 micro coils, 10 wraps of 28g around a 2mm screwdriver, came out at ~.3 ohm. Wicked with rayon. 20141013_090757.jpg

Most of the builds I have seen have been vertical. I built mine vertically at .18 ohms 26 Gauge and I am not getting much cloudage. Has anyone drilled out the airflow?
Mine are kind of diagonal, so I can thread one long piece of cotton all the way around, gives me great clouds

0.6ohm, it sure is a sweet atty, it's so heavy the, I'm running out on my XXIX and it's heavier than the mod and battery. I REALLY wish it didn't have a hybrid adapter built in, I know this thing around make an awesome bottom fed atty...
Are there any big attys that have that nice center post and deep well like this that don't have the damn hybrid adapter built in?
