Certain liquids make you sick?

I have purchased e-liquid from two different vendors. One is on my continent and affordable. The other is far away and "premium quality" (expensive).

when I vape the cheap kind, i feel kinda weird and get itch/sore throat. (like pneumonia / the flu).

Both are based on a mix of PG and VG. The cheap version has approx. 65% PG and 20% VG. I dont know about the other one.

Do you guys have any similar experiences or know something about this?

I don't know about them making me "sick", but I definitely can relate to getting an itchy throat with some e-liquids. It may have something to do with the different flavorings and flavor enhancers they use. It is also possible that you are having a small allergic reaction to the PG. I'm not an expert by any means, but those are just some of my thoughts.When it happens to me (itchy throat), I usually just vape through it.

In general, PG liquid "dries out" your mouth and oropharynx. PG may even give you an itchy throat but it should be short lived. If your juice is making you feel "sick," you may want to try 100% VG juice. As anfleet mentioned, you may be having an allergic reaction to the PG.

It could be the PG as some have a sensitivity to it. Vaping is dehydrating. Are you drinking lottsa water? I drink 1 1/2 liters per day. I have a sensivity to the sweetner Ethyl Maltol aka Cotton candy. Understand PG enhances TH so a high PG may be the problem. Also some juices contain either distilled water or alcohol/ PGA which can irritate the throat.

Try a Liquid based on VG... Vg Liquids are more smoothy for your throat.
Stevia can help too, but mostly its cause of PG
