Still new here and learning.

I'm going with the simple set up - a Smoktech ego battery and using the Smoktech mini trophy tank. My favorite still is my Halo G6 e cigs but the juices that I just purchased (Vapor Hut Grapeful Dead) says that it has been known to crack plastic tanks :(

My question is - when you want to change flavors how do I do this? What if I want to keep multiple flavors on hand?

Do you keep multiple tanks filled with flavors and just switch the tank out? How do I clean the bottom coil tank to change flavors? I've read so many different techniques that I'm not sure which is really correct.

I'd love to hear how you do this and your suggestions. Thanks.

I am a flavor-flitter, so I have multiple cheap toppers. I have eliminated quite a few from my rotation lately, but I won't tell you how many I have. :D When I retire one, I wash the tube-thingy, and set the coil head aside in the clean or recoil pile. If I want to refill it with something else, I put a cleaned coil in it, fill, and go.

I clean them by taking the chimney off, put the coils and chimneys in a strainer, and run hot water on them from the faucet. Then I dry burn and reassemble. I have enough retired flavors/toppers that I can accumulate quite a few coilheads before cleaning them.

YMMV. Every one does it different.

I also started with the Halo starter kits (still have and use them all a year later) and I rotate 10-15 flavors a day because I'm real susceptible to get VT. The easiest way to rotate flavors through the day is to buy a ton of toppers.

I use a blue little sticky tape and put on the tanks numbers from 1-15 and on a notebook, write the corresponding juice for that tank and when I filled it. Helps me keep my tanks straight of what juices I loaded in them and also which are due for cleaning.

I only have two tanks..I use one for fruity flavors and the other for coffee/caramel/vanilla/ect.dessert-types. Most of the time, I just add a similar flavor without even cleaning the tank. Watermelon to apple, for example. It changes the flavor a bit, but I don't mind because I'm lazy that way, lol. I usually only clean my tanks out when the coils need rebuilt.

Love the little blue sticky and numbering system. Thanks for that tip!

I like the way you think. Maybe I'm trying to be a purist with flavors - but I'm kind of lazy too, LOL. Especially because I find all of this fussing with these tanks (that link), flavors I don't like when I get them home, etc. I just want enjoy vaping dang it!

I do like to try new juices in a clean tank with a fresh atty but then I like to mix it up once I know how a single flavor tastes. I'm kind of a flavor junkie, lol. It does stink when you fill a fresh, clean tank and don't like the juice :/ I just noticed that you're using a plastic tank...I failed to mention that I use glass ones-they don't retain flavor like plastic does.

I've been buying tanks about one a week, each for Ginny & I. Both to hold different flavors and to get better tanks. I still have & use the 2 little 1.5 BDC Aspires I started with on evod batteries. Also have Ego-T's with Kanger Aerotanks, 5 of them. The Aerotanks were a really good up grade from the Aspires as were the Ego-T's. After that came the itaste MVP. WOW what an improvement !!! I got a Kanger Mega for it & couldn't believe the difference so I got another MVP and a Aerotank V2, The Mega's little brother. It was an easy progression and I keep quite a few for different juices and some for travel on the motorcycles. I use different color drip tips to identify different juices. Take your time. Your collection will grow naturally. :) :) :) mine.jpg
