You know, when I first started, I found VR Classic Blend and thought it was amazing because it tasted like a real cigarette. I went to the juices thread trying to find similar juices for better prices, and someone told me to hold off because my tastes may change.

Sure enough, they have. I can barely stand the stuff now. I also tried to smoke an analog the other day, and didn't even finish half of it. The taste was just... disgusting. The only thing going through my mind was, "Why in the heck would I want to taste this when I could be tasting... anything else?"

Just thought I would mention it as I'm pretty shocked by how drastic the change is. I'm still a fan of flavored tobacco flavors, but that pure analog flavor... yuck yuck yuck!

I'm not sure how long you've been vaping, but it keeps changing. Mine seemed to take about six months to mostly settle down, and I still noticed alterations at 9 months.

Like my cousins, I went from menthol tobacco to fruitier flavors to a straight menthol with no modifications as time went on (their paths were different, but the change was the same). I haven't made any changes in a while now...so far...yet...

I didn't quit smoking until I also quit vaping tobacco flavored juices.

Now I can't even stand the smell of the stuff. I find it repulsive and won't even try any flavors if there is a hint of "tobacco" in it.

Many folks have reported that although a manufacturer may claim that their liquids taste like tobacco, they actually don't come near it. I wouldn't know since I have forgotten what analogs taste like and I'm certainly not going to try to prove them right or wrong.

I could not have stopped smoking, if I had not found an e-juice that reminded me powerfully of the taste of my cigarettes. True, it's actually a great deal better tasting that any cigarettes, but the same "notes" are there, and I taste them far more clearly in the e-juice than behind the bitterness of burning tobacco -- a hint of apple, a whisper of cinnamon, and the very mild smooth savory notes of Virginia tobacco. After I started vaping this, within 2 wks I found the taste of the actual cigarettes that it reminded me of to be completely loathesome, so bitter it almost brought tears to my eyes. So I stopped smoking them, and now just vape.

But I'm having a hard time finding a sweet flavor that really satisfies me; none of the sweet flavors seem to offer ANY throat hit of any kind, and I just cannot be satisfied without the throat hit, the pleasant tingle in the mouth and throat. It's not about the nicotine, either; I vape at a very low 6-8mg, never more than 9-10mg, and my Virginia e-juice delivers a very satisfying throat hit at that level. But even though I enjoy an e-juice that's much stronger in the apple-cinnamon taste than the Virginia, there is no throat hit. I can only tolerate that first thing in the morning, when any throat hit makes me cough the same way that cigarettes did. I don't have the money to try every possible sweet flavor to see if it has ANY throat hit, so does anyone know of any sweet flavors that do?

Bacon... oh man... picture Homer Simpson salivating all over himself... BACONNNNN... About a week or 10 days after I quit stinkarettes, I was frying some bacon one morning... got a little grease on my fingertips, so naturally I licked them (this is BACON we're talking about!)... OH MY GOD... I have never tasted anything that good in my life.

The tastebuds seem to have more or less settled down now, but I'm sure they'll continue coming back to life. I'm enjoying that very much, but I already had an almost supernaturally keen sense of smell, and having THAT getting stronger is merciless. Pretty soon I shall have to dab Vicks Vaporub under each nostril just to leave the house. :w00t:

C'mon dessert vapers, please tell me some sweet flavors that have throat hit. I'd really love some dessert flavors, but it's got to have either a really strong taste, or it's gotta have a throat hit of some kind, or I'll never really like it. :(

I was going through my junk juice box today and found a juice that smelled really good(Dutch chocolate mint). I couldn't remember why I didn't like it, so I dumped it in a clearo. I now find this juice to be awesome. It was only a sample bottle, so I went to the vendor's website to order more and it's been discontinued. :( Never going through my junk box again...

My taste changed at 3 months AFTER I had stocked up on the first juice. I finally gave those 20 bottles to my son-in-law because I was never ever going to vape them. My taste buds and I were at war for several months until we came to a truce and settled on unflavored juice. We've been living in peace for about 6 months now.

Bacon flavored e-juice... one more reason to stop smoking and start vaping.
