Actually, I heard a rumor that they are so desperate to sell this drug despite the side effects that they are considering throwing in 2 cases of Baked Lays for a limited time!

These chips should contain enough Olestra to take care of that last side effect!

But seriously.. I clicked on this thread because I have been seeing this commercial lately and now that I see that 2 people posting here are from Colorado I am wondering if they are targeting certain areas like Colorado or is this a nation wide increase in advertising?

You know its funny how the FDA approves of something that could cause you to go kill yourself.

I wonder if the family could sue the makers of the pills or the FDA for approving those JUST for that reason if it did happen???

In all fairness, my cousin, whom lives in Denver recently quit using Chantix. She's been smoke free for like four months now. She never mentioned side effects either. I'm happy for her.

We've been seeing a Chantix tv ad that lasts 60 seconds but when I timed it I found the disclaimer on side effects lasts 30 seconds of that. Sure glad the FDA is looking out for us and big pharm is showing us on tv how you can go from one FDA-approved potential killer to another FDA-approved potential killer.
While I'm watching it I'm sitting here vaping away thinking, "and they want to ban my e-cig?"

They've been showing a lot of Chantix commercials here. I commented to RW just the other night that they must be getting desparate for smokers to try it before they found the e-cig.

My dad quit to, he's almost 60 and smoked a pack to two packs a day (depending on the day) since he was 14 or so. He had no side effects and has been smoke free now since around February of this year. I'm happy he quit, and I'm even happier he didn't have ANY of the side effect listed. With so many listed you'd think you'd get atleast one.
