Thanks Kent, seems as long as the wall charger is rated @ or above the mah as the battery and the voltage is the same that they are compatible

You can use the 420, 450, 500mA safely. I wouldn't go above that. Early on there was (and still is, but not used much) an adapter for the 510 chargers, I think for the difference in voltage, but it took a long time to charge. Charging a 510 on an eGo charger will fry it.

So from your experience would you use a 5vdc 1amp output wall charger with a usb connector that has a 4.2vdc@420mah output with a ego 1100mah battery? I don't want to be a pain but I would rather ask than buy another wall charger if I don't need to.

That would work - I think it's close to what joye packages in their kits. The wall unit is less of a factor unless you're using a passthrough. Then you want at least 1 amp, some earlier KR808's needed more.
