I started out a week ago with a Green Smoke KR808D-2 (I know, I know....). For the time being I'd like to stick with refilling cartos. I plan to purchase a KR808D-1. Does anyone know if I can plug a KR808D-1 threaded USB into a KR808D-2 A/C wall charger without frying anything?

Should be fine. Most AC to USB adapters to slim cylindrical ecigs a 500mA adapters and I think that is fine for charging any of them. The ones that have different chargers are the fat battery models (like Ego) and obviously high-voltage mods etc.
What you cannot do is run a Passthrough off a 500mA AC to USB adapter and you should run a PT off your computer's USB either (a few people have damaged their USB ports). Some PTs need 1amp (ie 1000mA) and some need 2amps (ie 2000mA)
