Hope you see this Frank.

Got a question. I just got my GoGo kit from you this past weekend. The supplied charger's green light on the end the battery screws onto goes out after 2 1/2 hours. Normally with these chargers after the red light goes out the green will stay on forever until you unplug from the AC source.
I have someone else in the house I live in have the same charger for their GoGo, and it stays on until unplugged from the AC.

If I am to do a 8 hour charge for the initial charge, how do I know if it is indeed getting a charge/trickle charge, if the light goes completely out/off after 2 1/2 hours?

Is this a defect?
Did something change with this batch?

I think I very well may have a bad charger, but am not sure. (I see another recent post that their charger they just got is broke)
Its like clock work...at 2 1/2 hours.... lights out.

Please help :)

Thanks
John

Pink,

Well your situation is unique, so far. I have had the led's just stop working on a few of the 808 chargers and they still charged the batteries. But I have not had any reports of that or what you have described with the Go-go's.

Did you vape the batts down till they flashed like in the instruction sheet? A full charge takes between 3 and 4 hours after the flash. They don't need an overnight charge!

I will watch for your post tomorrow to see if the batts are charging. My charger is one of the originals and it goes from red to green when finished charging. I don't know if it has been changed to just going off when finished. Maybe some of the other folks who received there Go-go's in the last week can sound off on whats up with theirs!!!!!!

Thank you for the quick response Frank.
Yes, I don't put battery's on the charger till the battery is dead/light flashing on button in the case of the Gogo. The charge only took 2 1/2 hours. It did go from red to green when done charging, but then went off completely. This is what concerns me a little since I know others that have the Gogo, and their light stays green after the charge, and stays green till unplugged from AC.

I just put on a battery that I charged Sunday, so I will see how long the battery last, and let ya know if all is well and it took a full charge.

Thanks again.

After reading this thread I got to wondering if my charger was working at all. The first out-of-the-box battery finally died, so I put in on the charger but there was no light on the connector at all. Went ahead and let it go overnight but had not tried it. So... I gave the battery a try and it went right to flashing. Guess the charger is defective. I did try it on USB with same result. Guess it's back to Frank.
