Hey All,

Can anyone recommend a charger for AW IMR 16340 batteries? I recently bought a VV box mod from the classifieds that takes 2x 16340 batteries and from what I've read the AW IMR batteries seem like they would be good fit for this application.

Would this charger work OK and charge well from both a safety and longevity standpoint: Ultrafire WF-188 Lithium Battery Charger

I don't really care about spending a little more for something that would work best with those batteries.

Thanks in advance.

I fell for the hype on that one and it works, But the 'hooks' are a pain - you have to play with both ends of the batt to get it right and charging.

I have something like this with the 'paddle' that the battery easily goes up against.

I charge AW IMR batts on both - no perceived difference.

I've been happy with the tr001, did pick up the xtar wp2 ii recently, supposedly a better charging characteristic. The xtar ran just over $20 delivered, including buying an extra pair of spacers needed for charging 16340. The xtar comes with a cig lighter adapter, if you ever need to recharge in a car.
