Charging (510 / Riva 510)

Hi,

Can I safely charge my Joy-e 510 batteries with my Riva 510 charger (plugged into a wall outlet)?
And can I safely charge a Riva 510 battery with my Joy-e 510 charger (plugged into my computer)?
They're probably the same thing, but I don't want to break anything

Yeah, I lost track of which charger is for Riva and which is for eGo long ago, and haven't had a problem.

Edit... oops. I'm tired, and read Joye-e to mean eGo for some reason. Not sure what Joye-e is. Hopefully someone less tired will come along with a better answer.

NO, do not charge Joye 510 mini batts with charger for Rivas. It will kill the mini batts, too much power. The USB charger for eGo/Riva is 420 mAh and the charger for regular 510s is half of that. You can charge the eGo in a mini 510 charger, but it will take a long time.

Edit: I have both too and put a piece of tape on the Riva USB charger to differentiate.

So is the difference the wall adaptor, and could I use the usb part that's plugged into it for both? The reason I ask is that it looks exactly the same, and I could easily see me getting them mixed up.

Edit: Oh, wait, there's a sticker on them with the output mAh.

It is NOT the wall adapter, but the USB cable charger that is different between the two. The 420 mAh is Riva only, so mark it with tape.

Yep, I just found that out, and marked it with some colorful stickers I had lying around. Thanks for the advice!

Normally, yes. I'm not sure about AC adapters in Belgium.
