Charging Batteries

So for eGo 650mah battery do u guys suggest charging till indicator green (abt 3-4hours for me) or just 2 hours then pull out regardless of indication light

But i get a burnt taste if i wait till green.. mayb the volt too strong??
On a side note i found a funny term for it : premature charging
