This is probably the dumbest question in the history of these forums, but when you charge the battery do you turn it on, or off?
Thanks!

Thanks!
Thanks for the reply. I was wondering because my battery charges, but the green light never turns on even after approximately 5 hours of charging. On my regulated mods, and may be all of them, when the fire button is pressed the recharging process is interrrupted. It shouldn't matter if the mod is on or off.
Do the directions say there is supposed to be a green light? If yes another possibility might be that the battery is so depleted it never comes up to the voltage that signals it's fully charged but now I'm over my head and just guessing. Did you meantion what device you have? Thanks for the reply. I was wondering because my battery charges, but the green light never turns on even after approximately 5 hours of charging.
If it's your subvod it has pass through, vape while it's charging capable... If your vaping while it's charging though it will take forever. Get a second subvod or a cheap EVOD/AIO as a back up so you won't have to use it while it's charging. Basically your charging at 1A but running 5-6A so if your charging 5-6x time longer then vaping your getting no where. This is probably the dumbest question in the history of these forums, but when you charge the battery do you turn it on, or off?

Modern electronic devices are never truly "off." It's best to let the battery rest while charging. If it's resting because it's locked and the fire button is temporarily disabled, or just because you're not PRESSING the button anyway whether it's locked or not, I don't think the battery will care much either way. This is probably the dumbest question in the history of these forums, but when you charge the battery do you turn it on, or off?

I've got a Kangertech Subvod. I don't know if the other light is green (there are two lights), but only the bottom one ever lights up. I just unplug it when the battery base feels cool.Do the directions say there is supposed to be a green light? The documentation for the device should tell you what the different lights mean. That's going to be available online if you don't have a little leaflet or flyer.I've got a Kangertech Subvod. Devices should always be off when charged.
So the red light is on but the green light never comes on and your not using pass through while it's charging? Even if the green LED light wasn't working the red LED light should still go off or flash. Hopefully it's still under warranty. Should ask what your using to charge it too, PC is 500mAh I think and phone chargers usually 1000mAh but if it's like a bluetooth headset charger it's like 100mAh... would take a long time for sure lol.I've got a Kangertech Subvod. That would be true if it delivered the full 500mA (note: mA = milliamps, mAh = milliamp hours) the whole time, but I believe the way most chargers work is that they keep a constant current (500mA or whatever, can be more on units that use a wall plug) until the battery reaches 4.2 volts, and then keep a constant 4.2 voltage, which means reducing the current, until it (the current) drops to 35mA or so when charging is considered "complete." That last "trickle charge" period can go on for quite a long time, since it's charging at a very low rate during that time.Usb charging is rated at 500mah, so, 1300/500 = 2.6. So, theoretically, it should only take 2 and a half hours to fully charge.
