MVP2 Charging question

On the instruction manual and from what I read, the led is supposed to turn off after fully charged, right?

Mine is staying green and will not go off. I am only worried that the auto turn off when fully charged is not working and it will damage the battery.

Does anyone else's battery LED stay on green when fully charged....or may it still be charging? It has been green for 2 hours now.

It can take a while.. Last part of the charge is always the longest

My LED shuts off when charging is complete. But as Dom said it can take a while to charge because it is a 2600mah battery.

My MVP1 stays green until I unplug the cord - It takes about 3 hours to charge fully from a wall charger

Remember that Li-Ion batteries have no memory effect so you can unplug from the charger whenever you want (but don't leave plugged in for weeks on end)

Hold both buttons down and if the second # that comes up reads 4.2 then it's charged, if not it's still charging.

I have two MVP2's and they take about 4 to 5 hours to charge when they get down to red. They shut off when the charging is complete. You probably just need to let them charge longer.

Time seems to go sloooow when you are waiting for a new toy to charge. Ask me how I know.

It does take about 3 to 4 hours for the MVP 2 to fully charge. Mine came partially charged, and I couldn't wait to use it! The total recharge took a while, but the green light did go out when it was done.

I own 5 of them and the light goes off on all of them when fully charged.

Thanks guys...the problem is was not fully charged. It went from red to yellow to green very quickly, so I thought it may be done after 2 hours, but it was only 4.0v. I was just making sure I was not damaging it.

The light flashes from whatever level the battery is to green very quickly. If you charge it while it is still in the yellow it will only flash yellow to green.
