Ok so my 14500 protected battery's just came in after a long 2 week wait.
So I popped one into the charger I have for my 10440 protected battery's. I was told this charger would work just fine for the 14500 and 10440. The charger is Universal Li-ion 3.7 volt battery charger this one.

This charger is new and works great with my 10440, When charging the 10440 they stay cool to the touch. But the 14500 are getting warm not hot.

Should I be worried ? Please advise .. The 14500's are ultrafire lc 14500 900mAH 3.6v

: EDIT :
How long do the 14500 take to charge ?

It's not unusual for batteries to get a little warm when charging. It's one reason you should not put them on the charger when they are warm, It can kill or shorten the life of the battery. As far as your particular combo I don't know, I've never used it.

Maybe someone who actually has experience with it will give some first hand info. So bump.

The 14500's have a larger capacity and are probably drawing more current, and getting warm to the touch is pretty normal for any kind of charger. My 14500's and 18350's typically get warm (a little more than body temp, at a guess). Don't use 10440's, but my CR123's (about the same capacity) usually don't get as warm. 10440 is going to have a higher surface-to-volume ratio, which would let them stay cooler, as well.

As long as they're not getting too warm to comfortably hold, I wouldn't worry about it.
