No, it won't explode. The batts have a circuit that shuts off the charging cycle once they are fully charged.
I sincerely doubt that leaving your charged battery on the charger too long would "burn up" your battery. But even if it did somehow reduce your battery's capacity by, say 15%, hey, no sweat -- it's an eGo. It'd still last for half a day easily!
I leave mine on the charger overnight, always have one on so I always have a fresh one in the morning. The only time you should remove one you are not using from the charger is if you are not using it for a prolonged time (like 3+ days) as it can shorten the battery life.
