I bought an Elegant Easy kit for hubby and a KR808D-1 for myself from Cig Easy. We received them last Wednesday. But my KR808D-1 USB charger stopped working tonight :(. The little light on it stays red all the time and doesn't charge attached to my computer or attached to the wall charger. I'm so bummed. Is it ok to charge my KR8 bats with the Elegant Easy charger?

Frank, anybody?

The only thing I know is that you can't charge an elegant easy batt on a kr808d-1 USB charger. I purchased an Elegant Easy XXL from Cigeasy and they said I had to order an elegant USB charger because, while the elegant batt would fit on my kr808 charger, it would kill it. If it were me, I'd assume it to be the same, the other way around, but you should call Cig Easy CS.

MOC, I was told when I first started selling the Elegant and the Fast charger that it would overcharge the Easy KR808d batts but have found all it does is charge them faster. I have been using one for almost six months and it has not hurt one yet. My conclusion is its safe for all kr8 batts.

I'm about ready to order the Elegant Easy from cig-easy. But I don't see where I can order spare cones. Can someone steer me in the right direction?[/QUOTE

1 cone is included in their kits but extras may not be available yet, due to customs hold up. At least, this is what Frank told me. If you really feel you need more than one, their other vendors out there that have cones that will fit or, just do without the cone. It's not needed for the device to operate properly.

Note: These cones were customed designed for the Elegant and differ in size and threading than the basic design of most Ego,Vgo type mods. I believe that the current Riva model has the most compatible cone? I will confirm once I talk with supplier in China and update here!

Definitely a size difference, which is kind of a bummer because the mega 808 cartos I have from LeCig (purchased along with the PigCig I tried before I got my Elegant), don't work with the Elegant's cone. The LeCig cartos seem to be a tiny bit wider than any of the other 808 cartos I have and although I never noticed the difference before I tried them with the Elegant, the Elegant's cone is just a little too narrow to fit over them.

I also notice there are a lot more rings of threading on the Elegant's cone than the PigCig's, so I agree - I doubt another "brand" of cone would fit the Elegant.

I want to try some clearomizers from MadVapes but I'm worried the cone might not fit over them either. Does anyone know if they fit with the Elegant's cone?

I would like to hear about your personal experience with the pigcig sometime? I was at first attracted to the chrome finish on the unit though it was not enough for me to want to purchase. Lower mah than Elegant and VGO is much different than Elegant battery in many ways.

The cone for the Elegant fits over the CE2 cartomizers fine, clear or stainless. Just tried again to be sure, rarely use the cone myself.

Before I got my Elegant cone, I bought a Riva 901 cone from Liberty Flights. It threads on fine but the top is not as tapered as the cones specially designed for the Elegant, resulting in a more airy draw. I was MUCH happier when I got the right cone. I have Frank to thank for that:)

I like the function of the PigCig. It has an airier hit (which I like, and I'm not used to the less airy hit of the Elegant yet). However, the chrome is absolutely terrible. It completely tarnished to a really ugly blackish steel color in less than a week. I called the vendor about it & was told, "Yeah, we know. It does that on the chrome and the gold colors as well as the chrome band on the black." Thank goodness mine is black, so at least it's just the band & not the whole thing! They went on to say that they're working with their supplier to see if a "coating" or something can be put on them (in the future, it seems) in an attempt to prevent that problem. They didn't know of any kind of polish or anything I could use to restore the finish (heck, I don't even know what kind of metal it is) and they didn't offer me any kind of resolution to the issue. So I just ordered an Elegant.

Oh, and I thought the PigCig was the smallest (shortest) of the 808 fat batts but it's not. It's longer than the Elegant. I really love the look of the Elegant. It works well for me too - I just have to get used to the pull. It's not hard, there's just no airiness to it at all no matter how I adjust the cone (or even if I leave the cone off completely). It's not as big an issue for me as the ugliness of the pigcig once it's not brand new anymore.
