Charging MVP with a different usb cord?

Might be a silly question, but..

Is it safe to charge my mvp 2.0 with a different, longer, usb cord? The one that was supplied is just too short. I have another usb cord that's much longer and fits my mvp I would like to use.

That's what I use & have had 0 problems. The OEM charger cord is handy but weird if you know what I mean.

Ya, using a longer cable USB is not gonna hurt anything.

The only important thing really regarding charging cables is the stability of the prongs and how old it may be. Don't use an "old" cord that may have a fray or opening in the rubber coating the wires, and try and keep both ends clean, even if you need to use compressed air to blow out any dust every few months.

I've been using the USB cords that came with my logitech mice. There about 4 or 5 feet long and I also use a USB extension cord on one of them that is something like an additional 6 feet.

Has worked out great so far.
