Ok, I have a lot of electronics that around that need to be charged on a daily basis. Once a week or so I like to monitor my items charge and give them a good incremental charging, for example leave something on the charger for 20 minutes and take it off and use it for 5 minutes or so then repeat until fully charged. With everything else I have it helps extend the over all life of the battery.

Does anyone do that with their e cigs? If not are there any charging tips that anyone can recommend? I got about 7 hours today from my 808 before the vapor got weak enough for me to decide to just throw it on the charger.

WELCOME

For ecigs, it's better to have a few batteries that are fully charged. This is especially important when your out and about or at work. You won't have to worry about it dying on you. If your at home than this will still be important since you need to vape when one is charging. Which will sometimes take a few hours.

Hope that helps. And, always monitor the battery when it's charging like you said. I'm only saying that since your using a beginner device like an 808. When you move onto mods than getting a smart charger will give you the luxury of letting it sit and walking away from it.

Here's what wikipedia has to say for lithium ion cells:

Prolonging battery pack life
Depletion below the low-voltage threshold (2.4 to 2.8 V/cell, depending on chemistry) results in a dead battery which does not even appear to charge because the protection circuit (a type of electronic fuse) disables it.[99] This can be reversed in many modern batteries, especially single-cell ones, by applying a charging voltage for long enough to make the cell voltage rise above the low-voltage threshold; however this behaviour varies by manufacturer.
Lithium-ion batteries should be kept cool; they may be stored in a refrigerator.[99][100]
The rate of degradation of Lithium-ion batteries is strongly temperature-dependent; they degrade much faster if stored or used at higher temperatures.[99][101]
The rate of degradation of Lithium-ion batteries is also related to battery charge level; they degrade much faster when at 100% charge, than at lower charges. Since batteries die if deep discharged (depleted) and since a battery has some self-discharge it is frequently recommended to store batteries at 40% charge level.

Not sure that helps much with your PV since you'll be using it every day, but I'm not sure your routine really helps your other batteries if they are li ion. Other cell types might benefit

Thanks for the quick reply. I ordered the PCC for my bat, I make sure that one is fully charged before I go to work. The other one I charge then end up using before I sleep for a while, and luckily they both get me through my 12 hour shift with no problems.

No problem and that PCC is really going to come in handy. I always keep a fully charged battery in there along with some extra cartomizers.

You seem to be getting a whole lot of time from your batteries, which is a good thing. I can only get my 808 batteries to last me 4 hrs at the most.

Thanks, I have a PCC for the M40x that I got in first and with the battery life on that thing I need it.

The 808 suprizes me with the length of time I get out of it after reading reviews on other brands and models. PCC for it should be in this week, due to being over seas it takes anywhere from 7-20 days on average.
